misfire

I think when the gun went off at the start of this challenge, it messed up or somethng. My brain heard it, but my wires were crossed or something. Dang it I frustrate myself. I have been making a little list in my head of things I did for my good challnges that I haven't done, that mabye I could do again to get it into gear.

1. I need a new journal. My old one is great, but I think I need a volume 2.

2. Exercise log. Even though I'm not doing the BFL weights, I need to log in what it is I AM doing (on actual paper, on a clipboard) and put it into volume 2.

3. Mealplans. on PAPER. entered into FITDAY. Please, how many times must I tell me this?? Geez I am such a knucklehead!

My gym experience today was a rollercoaster. I didn't want to go, but did out of sheer habit. While I was thourougly stretching on the treadmill before it started, I saw a gal I'm supposed to be helping(whatever...I suck) over in the ab section. So I go over there and we do abs, but then she left, so I had no other choice. I had to go back to the dreadmill. I was feeling better after talking to her, mood lifted. Then my MP3 player battery was dead. This is the seond time this month, so I'm panicking, I can't do HIIT without my MUSIC! (well, I did a month ago that one other time) and then I thought I'd wimp out and do LISS and watch the Today show........but NO, I forced myself to start running. I was actually running next to this tiny little 17 yr old blond which was strangely motivating(i'm telling myslef, what I am doing makes her look like that, I am on the right track) and luckily the music channel on the TV didn't totally suck, and I made it to the end. But at the end I saw an extended family member (she didn't see me) and she looks great and dosen't have to kill herself(you know the type "if I feel like I gain a few I just eat less for a couple weeks") and then I felt like crap and started to cry a little. WTH??? Seee?? Who needs 6 Flags when I have this in my own head?? Yes, almost done with TOM, thank goodness! SHHESH! So yeah, I'm struggling, but I really am going to finish out this week strong. Its only monday for cryin' out loud!!(literally in my case)

Hmmmm, look familiar??

I know I am a total chid, I think Spongebob is hilarious! This is actually from the movie, which sucked, but this little part made me laugh. I just wish it showed them after they had passed out on the floor of the place and Spongebob woke up with whiskers and bloodshot eyes because of the ice cream hangover. hehehe.

Bah!

Kind of a waste of a day. Scratch that, MAJOR waste of a day. I woke up to a sweet rainstorm, which was SO AWESOME because its so rare. It also meant my sexy man was still in bed with me, also just as rare! So I got the kids to school in the rain, but Sadie had a stomach issue so she came back home and went back to bed. Mark and I took the little boys to a little local place called Cooper Country Breakfast. That used to be something we did occasionally, and hardly ever do anymore. It was fun. The boys just beam when we take them out like that. They sat so good and ate all of their food. We went back home and I took a nap. It felt great. I just basically slobbed around all day. It felt really great. Partly wallowing in self-pity about my stupid pictures and all the work I have ahead, but I think I got it out of my system. Yes, I had on the "binge-wear" but I didn't binge. Mainly because there wasn't anything binge-worthy to eat except popcorn, and I was too lazy to go out. Boy. I'm a real piece of work. I did manage to get out and do a few errands around 5, and go to Sams Club. It was a great recharge day, actually. I'm not feeling that guilty. I missed a workout but that is rare, I am feeling ready to get back to business. I'm usually the type of SAHM who gets dressed, make-up and all every day. To not do it was wierd. For the record, I did wear a bra all day. C'mon, I'm not THAT crazy!! Or mabye was I just too lazy to take it back off after brekfast???

Back to business tomorrow. I have projects to plan. The main one being ME!!

A little explanation

Some of you may have seen the horror that is my new set of pictures on the tracker. Well, yeah its about as bad as it can possibly look. I'm pretty horrified. Lighting is bad, angle is bad, body is really bad. Everyone listen up now, this is important. This is what happens when you work out like a nut and eat really crappy. DO NOT try it. You don't have to, I have already shown you firsthand what will happen. It is not a place you want to visit. I should be looking ripped like Lori, but instead I'm.......not. Don't get me wrong, I have been working hard, but not being smart. I've given myself every excuse in the book. PMS, tiredness, reward, no $$ for "good" food, blah blah blah its so stupid. I have been reading Sqwigg regularly and she is really getting a grip on her eating, I think I can turn this around. She's eating a TON of veggies. I must do this. I keep telling myself I need to get the program she has, but ya know, really I don't. I'm gonna do BFL straight up and get my "baseline" eating back on track. 6 solid weeks. I already have the tools. BFL works. But I have to put into it to get some results out of it. I can't get this close and then fizzle. Yes, I'm frustrated, I'm angry at myself. Why can other people seem to get it together and lose that last bit and I can't seem to make it click? What is holding my back?? THis is important, I need to find this answer. It just may take me the full 12 weeks to figure out, but I'll be damned if I wont work every single day to find out. My trainer keeps telling me I have the magic "thing" to go all the way with fitness. I have work ethic, I have potential, I'm missing the REASON for wanting this. It is so mentally difficult to keep going with this. I will add though, that the whole fitness part of what I do every day really has started to ingrain itself into my everyday life. I was thinking today that I used to have a much different morning routine before BFL. I am really addicted to the working out part. That has changed for me big time. It is a huge part of my life, I go to the gym. I get there every day. OK, so thats half the battle. If I can make that a habit, I can make eating clean a habit too, right?? As of now, I do feel a little "off" if I don't have some form of protein for a meal. (unless its just a total all-out junk fest) So that is progress. Its taking so looooooooong to re-form these good habits. That is what is discouraging to me. Obviously, I need more soul-searching talks with myself on these topics. Another day we will listen to me contemplate self-promises. Yikes I don't wanna go there, but I feel something brewing there that needs to be adressed.

Challenge challenges

Day one went great yesterday. I knew it would be a nutty day so I got up and did my HIIT at 5 am. First day of school went great (except that my car battery was dead and I had to borrow my neighbors car to get them to school). The kids had a great day, all went well. My little Cooper is a big first grader now! I have to say I have some pretty gorgeous kids! After school we had dentist appts. for the 3 older ones. It was taking forever so I had to have Mark come get the little boys, they were a little too "busy" and it was VERY stressful. Now this morning the 2 younger boys have their appts. More dentist office, yippee. :( Have to get it over with though. I'm gonna hit the weights(LBWO) afterward, about noon. Then it will be time to get the house cleaned up some more and pick up the shorties. They are easing us poor parents into the homewok, no spelling till next week (30 words a week, people, and they are no chump words-even in first grade)Right now its just reading, english and math.....homework!

Mark went back to Showlow to work this morning, he'll be back late wed night or thurs morning. I'm just glad he has a chance to work in the cooler weather.

I'm taking my pictures tonight for my challenge. I'll post them on tracker tomorrow. I HAVE to stay accountable, this is the only way. Things have gotten pretty bad fat-wise for me. I'm doing it. I have to!!!

Fresh new start

5:00am went to the gym, 20 minute HIIT
7:00 kids up for school
7:45 borrow neighbors car because my battery is dead, took kids to school (HALLELUJAH!!)
wasted an hour getting to the car place, got checked in, Mark called said no, just go to AutoZone, got discouraged and came home, I'll deal with the car later. Car is the mans job. Even though I jumped it twice all by myself.

Restarted my challenge today, I want to finish the week I go to TN. I re-read BFL and did my goals last night. Pictures tonight, that will be posted. I realized that the times I post the bad ones, it makes me sick and compells me to want to get some better ones up ASAP. Dumb mental game but it works. So far today just an RTD for breakfast but it was a little crazy.

House work time. Bleh.

this and that

I wanted to keep this short, But I really just blog for myself so tht I can go back and see what goes on in my head. I will not be organized, I will surely be petty and stupid, and guaranteed boring. Even Mark thinks my blog is boring. He says he starts reading then zones off into his own thoughts. I know, he's so sweet sometimes.

Well, he's a sweet Police officer!!!!! You betcha, officialy. I'm really stoked, but it hasn't really sunk in yet. He goes to orientation on Aug 7. It wil be a whole new chapter for us. Do I detect a normal life ahead?? (now thats sad when I consider police work a normal life...its not like an office job)I can't wait till he gets home tomorrow so we can celebrate!!!!

Anyway back to me ....I rented a steamvac, cleaned my house and yard top to bottom, ready for the landlord to come over for whatever he's coming over for. I'm getting the kids ready and because of some frustrating garage door issues and about 5 other annoying incidents, I had to take a quick shower. By the time I get out.....Dayton had smeared peanut butter(he nimbly retrieved for the cupboard and opened himself) all over my freshly steamed COUCH!!!! My beautiful raspberry couch, covered in litle finger smears of Skippy. One whole arm and the 2 seat cushions. I about lost it. I called Mark so he could calm me down, didn't really work. He said "well since peanut butter gets gum out of stuff, why not try putting gum on it?" Ho ho ho I was not amused. I had to leave it and go to meet the teachers. I get there late, which means no parking within 3 blocks. No way am I walking all that way in 115 degrees so I waited for someone to leave. By the time we get in the school I've run into other parents and I got my game face on and we survived. I managed to get most of it up later with the new spot cleaner I'd just bought at Home Depot.

Oh yeah, and the LL never showed or called. Niiiiice. :P

Just in case you were wondering, the temp gauge on my car today read 122 degrees for about 5 hours while I was out this afternoon. Its usually right on. It was so hot that my eyeballs were burning like I had opened the oven while cooking a turkey and just stuck my head in there to cook. Except it didn't smell good. If you wanted some hot chocolate, theres a bottle of water out in the car. No stove needed. Ok Its AZ, but thats the kind of hot that slaps you across the face. Then tonight, a huge microburst storm that about blew my house down. Freaky.

I had not gone to the gym in 2 days so today I really wanted to do it up right. I spent and hour an a half sweating my rump of(not literally, unfortunatly) and working my legs and a little arms and abs. I may restart with Suzanne so I can finish the week before TN, hmmmmmm just a thought. I really did have a good workout though.

I am so beyond tired right now, I think its the heat, I got almost all the school shopping done and got a good deal on almost everything. Cade is with Mark, Sadie is at a sleepover, so just the 3 little guys are home, but not settling down too easily. I am REALLY looking forward to school monday and a ROUTINE again. I do so much better! Its 9:30, I'm gonna crash!!

Why am I sitting here at 1 am blogging?

You know it it time to clean your carpet when.....your mom's dog/child can't stop licking it. This is no where near the kitchen, mind you. Sorry all dog lovers, I am not a dog person. I admire from afar, I tolerate.

No workout today :( but my right forearm has completely given out, the muscles are completely SHOT (get your mind out of the gutter, people) Its because of the massive weeding job I had to endure today (7 am to 10 am, 100+ degrees) then vacuuming my entire house with a new vacuum bag, then steam cleaning the whole works and pullig the trigger sprayer was all my veiny little arm could take. I tried to lift part of the bunk bed, it was a no go. Arm refused gripping movement and cramped up.

I took a break and went to the late show with my bud Casey, we saw Pirates,it was pretty good. I got a chuckle at one point because all I could think of was my friend Jack Handy:

"If they ever come up with a swashbuckling School, I think one of the courses should be Laughing, Then Jumping Off Something."

Don't try to pretend you wouldn't giggle if you were watching the movie and then that "deep thought" popped into your head.
Seeing the water and the beach really made me wish I was back in the Bahamas.

Right now I am killing time waiting for Cades clothes to wash so I can pack him up, he's going with Mark on his out of town job. They will be framing one of Marks best friends from HS's house. Its up in the mountains, at least it will be cooler.
I'm gonna go do the dishes and finish watching So You Think You Can Dance. Right now I am rooting for Benji and Heidi(yes, I know they are cousins) I also like the little girl with the long wavy hair (not Natalie) and Ivan, even though theres no way he'll make it all the way.

Freak out...Freak out!!!!

What is going on?? I need to refocus....again. Seems like I need to rededicate myself evey other HOUR. Tonight Dana came over and hung out, we had a nice grilled BFL dinner, so clean and lovely. Grilled chicken and steak with a yummy salad. I guess I am not finding the momentum I thought I'd have by now. Just with the stupid handfuls of crap here and there I am already feeling like I will have another dissapointing week on the scale/tape. Hello its only tuesday...I can make progress this week. I have this dread looming over me about it, like I'm gonna start week 6 which is halfway and have made little if any progress. Its killing me. I look at profiles of people who are my weight and age(or much older) and I see them having made progress, wheres my progress?? Oh yeah, I left it in the pack of Yo-Go's I ate in the car today. I need more water. I need more veggies. Instead, I see the smallest tempatation and I forget all reason. Tomorrow I MUST have a perfect BFL day. No, I don't need any extra carbs because I am working out so hard. Sore muscles may make me feel leaner, but it dosent' mean I actually AM and therefore do not need any rewards or treats.

Tomorrows plan. HIIT at 7 am. eat 6 clean meals, 1.5 gals of water. evening UBWO. Tomorrow and the whole rest of my week is gonna be insanely busy. I just want to fast forward to Saturday. The main things being my landlord called and wants to come take a look inside the house. If you know me at all you will know that this sends my inner Martha Stewart into a frenzy. We're talking weed pulling, carpet cleaning, wall washing, rug buying insanity. Other items that are no less important...Mark going out of town to work thurs-sat, meet the teachers(school starts monday)School clothes/shoes shopping for 4(and its uniforms, no just grabbing whats on sale) Babysitting my moms Dog/child for 10 days while she goes to Hawaii, and this is just the big stuff. Ummm I'm getting overwhelmed.....I need a list.....desperately..I feel like the walls are closing in on this week. This is gonna be a doozy....

Serenity now.....Serenity now......

Its been one of those days where I have to keep giving myself a pep talk. About every 15 minutes. I just keep reminding myself of how many good things I have going on, and trying to concentrate on the positive. Today started out good, I got up and got to the gym by 7 for cardio, got home before the kids got up, made them work outside pulling weeds and got my house all cleaned up. I've even eaten great today.

M1:egg white/oat pancake w/1T nat PB

M2:Shake

M3:1C ww pasta, 1/4 c marinara, 1/2 C C.C.

M4: EAS bar

Planned-
M5: Grilled chicken and salad

M6: Protein shake

And as soon as Mark gets home we're gonna hit the weights. It'll give me a little break from the kids. I went grocery shopping and gots lots of good clean food. So SEE??? Things are good, I even did hair and made a little cash, and another client is coming over in a few minutes.

I got my challenge packet in the mail, that was cool. It was wierd to see Donna Szabo on the picture part, I just saw her and she looks so much better now, and she looked great before. I'm gonna send my card in tomorrow. Its for real, I am entering.

I guess I've been frustrated, I just feel kind of demanded of today. Everybody needs something from me. People calling and bugging me for stuff, Just stupid things, Mark bugging me for little things, (did you find my disposable cameras from camp?) Friends calling for playdates, 2 hair clients wanted to get in TODAY, Impromptu babysitting, blah blah. My brother was early dropping off my neice so I couldn't go get my nails done. :( I know, stupid stuff. Plus, I've been exercising like a madwoman, and my weight is up.WAY up. Hmm, early PMS?? I guess its possible. I'm trying not to stress over it, but its still annoying. I bought baked chicken for the kids for dinner, all I have to make is the side dish, and we will be eating on paper plates tonight. 4 more hours till bed time....4 more hours....

I'm whipped

I went into this weekend totally expecting and looking forward to having my butt kicked, well, thats what I got. I mentioned this in Marks blog but I went to the gym and Steve worked me out for about 40 minutes, then we went down and took the first part of a conditioning class based on ultimate fighting. The teacher teaches the brazillian Ju-jitsu as well. Theres more details on Marks but anyway....I had to leave a little early(thank goodness)because my mom had to go to a class. I met them at the pizza place and just got the unlimited salad bar. I was feeeling a little sick from the workout. If I had taken the whole class I would have puked, it was that kind of feeling. I ate 3 gigantic heaping plates of salad. I did have a tiny bit of french dressing...Oh man did that hit the spot. I didn't have any protein, the only chicken they had was wings drowned in sauce, but I got FULL on salad. Man it was good.

This morning I went back for more punishment. From about 6:45 to 8:30 I WORKED. Steve is big into the circuits, and the stairs of death, lemme tell ya. We didn;t just run up, we hopped up, feet apart, landing in a deep squat each step. Then we did sparring, my arms were literally heated up, the skin and everything. Then legs legs legs, then ABS OH MY GOSH that was a heavy medicine ball! I showed him some of the abs that Donna taught us on the cruise, he loved it all. That was fun. He hadn't seen me for about 2 months, he said he didnt even recognise me, I've improved SO much. He's talking about my muscle structure and such. I'm like well, I hope so, I've been doing everything you told me to!! I think he was surprised that I've been doing his program all this time. I actually can see a difference in the body I have under the blubber, its not something that any normal person would notice, its when I move certain ways or do certain exercises I can see the difference. He could too, which was nice to know it wasn't all in my head. He's so fun to train with, for one thing, he does a lot of the stuff WITH me, instead of just telling me what to do. He took some video yesterday of some plyo stuff I was doing, so that he can show me later how much I improve. I thought that was cool. He did a little mini interview askimg me what supplements I was taking, all that. He's a great guy, I like him a lot. I need to get up here to train more often. He's like "c'mon, just move up here for 6 weeks, I'll completely transform your body!! Ok, 3 weeks, you'll see a huge improvement..your'e almost there!!" I"m like Dude, I can't! I just promised I'd work hard hard hard and come back in a month or so.

Well my forearms are shot, I gotta quit typing. If I left all the typos I've made writing this, it would not be readable. My fingers are shaking and my forearms are kind of spasming. I gotta get ready to go camping now. Be good!!

Happy Birthday Mark!!

Today, July 14 my lover turns 34!! Yeah baby!!He's even hotter today than he was at 22, I can tell ya that for sure!! I'm taking the kids to my parents to go camping this weekend so I won't be here most of his birthday so he already got his b-day goodies - oh yeah, and his presents too. Hehehe. I splurged on a nice watch for our future police officer, he's gonna need a good one. Its cool, I think I picked a good one and it will be a good stopwatch for his running training for the academy. GULP. So anyway, baby, happy birthday, I LOVE YOU you ROCK!

And now back to ME....Today was alright. Ate well all morning, afternoon, then didn't bring a bar with me while watch shopping and ended up eating 2 lowfat Oatmeal raisin granola bars. My cals for the day were prolly fine, but included an out of place rice cake and a couple spoonfuls of cool whip. And 1 seasoned fry. I'm going camping tomorow, I will be packing my bars, shakes, and string cheese and fruit. I will really only be at the campsite for 3 meals, I will be OK.

I am looking forward to seeing Steve the trainer, I'm due for a good butt kicking. I know he will deliver that, for sure. Speaking of butt-kicking I got to the gym about 3 today (this is after 3 hours of the pool and cleaning my house top to bottom...babysitting fell thru) I felt sluggish starting out with my cardio but after about 30 mins I got a small burst.

I concentrated on arms today after my treadmill walk. I did 10 sets of 10 pushups(real ones-yes, 100 total) and then 10 sets of reverse pushups(like the ones in the video where he's spotting me, but my feet on the floor, not on a bench)then I managed 8 sets of pull ups and 8 sets of dips (with assistance, of course) and about 5-8 each set. It took me about 25 minutes to do all that. Then my 10 pound plate workout(I should make a vid of that, its so cool), then more shoulders, then abs. I REALLY worked my abs today, I am seeing improvement there. My butt cheeks are sore from yesterday, I LOVE that. Probably because I did a set of 50 plie squats with a 25 lb dumbbell, then another set of 30. Plus a bunch of other stuff.

I think I am gonna go crash now, I'll get up with Mark tomorrow early and pack up, then I can hit Wally world by my mom and dads house, no sense killing myself over that tonight.

update

Feeling good, my bodys not too tired. I made it out to my second workout yesterday. Man did I work hard. I was dripping. I concentrated on butt and legs for 55 minutes, then did abs. I ate a large volume of veggies yesterday, and drank a gallon of water. This morning I was pouring Wyatt a bowl of Honeycomb cereal, boy did it look GOOD!! I LOVE sugary cold cereal. Its one of the worst possible thigns I could put in my body, and it calls my name constantly. I love Cinnamon life too. OOoh and Golden Grahams. AAAK Must stop this!!

Today is gonna stink because I chose not to go to the gym early. I made the decisison, I must deal with the consequences. Usually I feel comfortable just leaving the kids here asleep (Cade is a good babysitter)
but there have been some break-ins in the neighborhood (our garage already)and there are days when I dont' want to just leave them. Im supposed to meet my friend Casey at the pool at 10, then I have to babysit my nephew at 1. Looks like an evening killer workout is on store for me. Oh well, thats my punishment. Hopefully I can get Mark to come lift with me. Its UB day, He'll like that.

Have a good day!! Eat clean and drink your water!!!

'Allo!!!

Hey hey!! Well now that party time is over its time to get down to business!! Well I have been getting down to it thats for sure! I did take kind of a free weekend this past saturday and sunday, thats bad. NO MORE!! Im into week 3, I'm just gonna keep chuggung along and I'm making up for this weekends' playin around. I did get 6 pretty good workouts in last week, this week is looking even better. I haven't really put my goals/plan out there yet, so here goes.

Starting weight 144...............Goal by Sept 18: 127(currently 139)

Hip measurement 40.................Goal by Sept 18: 35(currently 39)

BF% starting 27%..................Goal by Sept 18: 16%(currently 25%)

The word I got on the cruise was that the way to have a noteworthy transformation is to set sky high goals and then reach them plus some. I MUST have a challenge in which every day, every workout, every meal will be critical that is be right on, I can't be losing any ground and there is no room for slacking off. Thats the attitude that gets me to the gym. I am gonna have to push myself past my limits and comfort zone. I'm gonna have to do what I have never done before, its so exciting!!

Which brings me to the plan of attack. My main objective is to maintain my muscle and burn off fat. My workouts are going to have to be really aggressive. This part is not hard for me. One time at my dads home gym years ago someone asked me "are you training for the Olympics or something??" referring to the intensity in which I was pushing myself. HAHAHAHAHAHA So I gotta bring back the "gym beast" within. Not only that, Im going for 2-a-days 5 days a week, just one good cardio on Saturdays. So Mon-Fri will be morning cardio, followed by a 6 hour rest, then back to the gym (with Mark, usually) for cardio-based weights, for about an hour. This will be the Smith machine stuff, cables, lunges, 10 sets of 10 (of pullups, pushups, dips, reverse push ups)that sort of thing. I'll throw in an occasional heavy lifting day, just to change it up. I do enjoy that now and then. So it will still be 2 hours a day, but just split up so that hopefully I can make more of that second hour by having rested. It sounds like a lot, but I've been doing it and its not that bad.

And now for the diet. I read thsi statement last night:

Poor nutrition is what holds you back.
And good nutrition is what will move you forward. Good nutrition is what will feed muscle and shed fat. It’s what will improve nearly every health marker you can measure. It’s what will drastically improve recovery and mood, so you can work harder, longer. Good nutrition is what will get you the body you never thought you could have.
Change your nutrition, and you’ll change your body entirely. Change your nutrition, and you’ll quite literally change your life.

OK I ripped this off from a link off of Sqwiggs blog but it really hit me. I have to get this part fixed. I HAVE TO start logging in to fitday. This is what keeps holding me back, its the cheats, or not eating enough, too much dairy, not enough veggies. Its time to get really tough with myself. I'm getting back on ThermodynamX, it helps a lot with my appetite. I also got a killer deal on a closeout of RTD shakes. I know they are not the best to choose, but they work for me. I need the convenience, and they feel like a treat. And SALAD!!! I have to have more veggies!!Salad, grilled pepers, sweet potatoes, I love them all!! Eat them, Eat them!!! I just get lazy.

I am excited, I feel like I am getting some momentum going here. So far this was my week: Yesterday I got up and did cardio (45 mins on 15% incline @ 3.8 mph) then went back last night and did a full body workout, concentraing on legs. This morning I did HIIT, felt OK but I was a little sluggish, due to low cals yesterday. Today I promise to have 2 salads!!!!

We just couldn't resist......

It was killing me that my BFL bud Ray was a half hour away, the club was going and I was at home....STUCK! So I called Dana up and said, girl, lets just go out LATE so when Mark was on his way home around 11:30 pm we took off back to Scottsdale and picked up the hottie and went out. Stupid clubs have to close at 2(how lame!) so it was kinda short but then we hit the hot tub at the resort. By now it was about 3 am and yes, I am an old fogey and the hot water made me crash, so we called it a night. It was fun though. We won't get to see Bubba (Ray hehe)till next year at least so it was worth going back out for that second time. Awwwwwwww!!!

Fabulous day..With RAY!!

Oh my gosh We had so much fun!!! Ray George was in town and he invited Dana and I to come to his swanky hotel pool for the afternoon. I'd never been to this resort in Scottsdale before, the Princess resort, it was awesome! We lounged on pool lounges that felt cushy like beds, they Ray made sure we had plenty of water (service with a smile...still a true Cabana Boy!!) and they brought us frozen towelettes to cool off with. Ray treated us to a poolside lunch of chicken pesto wraps and chicken quesadillas with all the trimmings. He had 3 other friends there too (all women, of course LOL)and we just hung out and soaked in the pool and sun. I'm definetly a little crispy..eeek)It was just so freakin lovely and relaxing. I'm really really bummed that I had to leave, Mark had to work, the perfect end would have been to stay for the big BBQ that was being prepared, watch a movie IN THE POOL (yup, a big screen over the pool!!) and then go to a club.......AAAAHAHHH! I can't think about that it would be a fab time overdose but I have to face reality. But someday....OH man I wana cry that would have been great. Ray is a super good and fun dancer.Heee heeee!! But the time we did have was great, for sure. THANK YOU RAY for having us, I loved it!

The end....finally!!!!

For some reason I am not wanteing to write about the vacation anymore. Here is the end real quick.

Friday morning we get up, go to breakfast, meet up with a few pals to eat. Damn!! Its over!!! We say our goodbyes, I wish we could have said goodbye to more people, but oh well. I would have been nice to have all the rooms booked near each other, or at least on the same level. We gather up the rest of our stuff, and get in the line to get off the boat. We were one of the first colors to get dismisssed, but ended up waiting FOREVER at the baggage claim for one of our suitcases. Once we got that, we went to the shuttle to the rental car place, and Dana got there about half and hour later. At least we got to see Misty and Morgan and Kelly and Shelly at the rental place, that was nice to say goodbye anyway. We dropped Dana and Blake off at the Orlando airport and headed to Daytona Beach, where our flight was leaving the next morning. I 'm so glad this is how it worked out, Daytona was awesome!! I took a nap while Mark watched World cup, then we went to the pool for a while. Came back and decided to find some good seafood so we found this place called DJ's deck...PERFECT!!! We drove down to the beach, and realized...WOW we should have been at theis gorgeous white beach all this time!!!

LOL It was beautiful!! We found the restaruant and wolfed down a pound of crab legs and a half pound of steamed shrimp. YUMMMMMMMM!!! It was exactly what we wanted! A little outdoor place with the real stuff. Great great. So we went back to the hotel, stopping on the way for candy and icecream and soda as a last treat before we get to work on the new bods. As a side note, we were walking distance from the Daytona speedway......HOLY CRAP this thing was massive!! I was in awe!!Pictures can't explain it, it must be seen to be believed. CRAZY!!

Anyway, we got up about 5:30, got to the airport and flew home. It was good to see the kiddos, seems like everything was just dandy while we were gone, which was nice. Then we crashed for the weekend, and now I just barely recovered yesterday. Finally last wednsday I went to the laundromat and did 11 loads of laundry (and thats not even all of it, that was just enough to get me past the overwhelmed stage)and I just yesterday got the house cleaned. So yeah, its taken me a while to get into the swing of life again. But now I'm back!!! And this story is over(freakin finally!!!)

Da cruise day 4

Well If I can even remember it by now....:P

On the third day it was stay on the boat all day. We got up kinda late and ate some breakky at the buffet. We chatted and had a leisurely time. Then we went and got ready for the Workout real quick. Went up there and things were in full swing.

We took the picture with the ladies, the the CB's posed for about 100 picutres. Thats why they were in wuch fine form in the gym, they were trying to get pumped up for the speedos. Hehehehe. So after the big photo op it was time to EAT again, but Mark was busy taking all of Mikko Manners pictures for him, so we were running a little behind. We missed eating iwth our usual crowd, but it turned out good because we had the chance to eat with Dr. Wayne and also Linda and her husband. It was neat to hear Dr. Wayne tell about his experience, quite a story. An I hadn't really talked to Linda yet, we'd been busy and in different places. So we ate with them and talked for a while. Then we went out to the back of the ship and Mark got into a couple games of basketball while I layed out and then chatted with Caroline. There was also a rock climbing contest going on on the back of hte ship, which was cool. Morgan, who was in our dinner group won the whole thing. He will now be known as Spiderman. Yes, we are the coolest! HAHAHA After that we went back and got ready for our pre-dinner party.

Jen and I were twins...OOPS!! HAHA Oh well, I'll be her twin any day!!! We had some awards, where we found out we won the wacky olympics. WOOT! There was a question and answer with the champ time, they gave some great answers to some great questions. We got some more supplements(earlier we had gotten EAS bags full of stuff like beach towel, supplements, beach bag, etc.) and a CD that Jerry had put together for us of workout songs. It's really good, and has a few I didnt' have so that was nice.

The Wacky Olympics winners!(what was our name?? I can't remember!)

We went in to our last dinner (sniff sniff). Aaron and Candice were late because they were at the buffet...again!!! LMAO Oh my, we laughed and laughed at dinner, it was too funny. I KNOW Misty has pictures of us at that dinner....a-hem.... I ordered 2 appetizers, a salad, 2 entrees(one being a steak) and the key lime pie and a giant decadent brownie for dessert. It was all so delicious. The waiters all did this very cheesy, hilarious(it wasn't supposed to be a comedy, I don't think) But the Austrailians were like "Is that supposed to be music??" It was this cheesy amusement park music. It was so funny. They sang and walked around and waved at us. Hehe.

After dinner we kind of just wandrred around, we had to have our stuff packed up and by the doors to get taken away...WAAAAAAA!!! Some people went to the dueling piano show, some went to th love and Marriage show, which Mark said was really funny, but I got talking to Kevin, then we went to the end of the piano show where some escapades got my friend Caroline in trouble with her hubby, but it was just a misunderstanding. We were bummed about it though. I hope they have it patched up by now though. So after that we wentup to the club where it could have been fun but the DJ continued to suck SO BAD it was virtually undanceable. I did dance with my new cutie Wes, who enlightened me to some hip hop stuff. Or is it R& B stuff? Or mabye rap... heck if I know, Thats why I needed help. HAHAHA I still dont' know the name of the song the crap DJ played so I can't download it anyway. Mark and I snuck away for a little late night walk on the back of the ship, it was romantic. :D

We went back in and chatted for a while then decided to turn in, reluctantly. We did actually have to be up in the morning to eat before check-out. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
