Hey Stranger!

Gee, I have really neglected this blog!! Wierd. There has been lots going on, just not a lot thats been blog-worthy. I was insanely busy last week, which is good but then I have a hard time pulling things together and I crash for a few days afterwards. Time to pull out of the slump today. I have been doing the HCG diet so if you want to see how that is going you can see my other blog over on my sidebar. Its pretty much consuming whats left of my free time now so that is where I have been blogging a little.

I did manage to paint Sadie's room, it looks SO much better. When we moved in it was bright pink on 2 walls and bright purple on 2 walls, and now it is the color that is painted downstairs in the family room. I'm going to paint the doors and trim an off white and then glaze them, too. Then I am going to refinish a bedframe for her that my mom brought over, and a dresser that Igot for free that is much bigger and nicer with a big mirror, it will be a very dramatic change, for sure. Fun.

So thats what I've been up to!

Whats up, Train Tracks??

Today was a B I G day!!! Cade and Sadie got their braces on their teeth today! They were so super excited and nervous. They also each had 4 teeth pulled so that made it a little less happy but they were troopers. The ortho has cool flat TVs with Dish above each chair so at least they could be distracted during the experience. Cooper went along too to get some cleaning and cavity patching and get an assesment of when we need to get going on his. His are probably the worst of the 3. Here are the befores:

Yeah, we have some "summer teeth" going on. Summer growing this way, summer growing that way ! LOL

I was grateful to be on this side of the camera :D



Here is Sadie right after, poor thing. She and Cade were both pretty oogie afterward, and Sadie started feeling pretty sick and light headed. She went white as a sheet and sweaty. Cade's face was all puffy from all the numbing shots, his pic is on my camera, he looks beyond miserable.

On the way home we stopped at In n Out so they could get a milkshake since eveyone was starving and they needed a treat for being such good patients, and all evening they have been complaining. We told them what they were getting into, and they know it will be so worth it, so they are trying to be good. They looks so much older!! Its crazy, like I got instant teenagers!! AHHH!

I wish I had good pictures, but I'm gonna have to take them tomorrow when they are a little less......fresh. They are still pretty miserable :(

And THEN........My sweet baby little Deet Dog (Dayton :) lost his first tooth today!! He let me push it a little and it cracked and came right out. He is so excited for the tooth fairy to come. I hope the tooth fairy remembers!!!! She is the worst tooth fairy ever, I mean she must be super busy because it takes a looong time for her to get to our house sometimes :D I'm pretty confident she'll show up tonight though.
