3rd Grade Drama

Background........Cade is being teased and tripped by a couple other boys for another class during recess soccer games. Wierd because he's actually a smart popular kid, who is class representative and is NOT an aggresive person. But, he tends to react and overreact to being teased, always has. He has trouble just letting things go. So yesterday one of these boys from across the lunchroom gives the universal"crybaby sign"(ya know, rub your fists in your eyes and then pointed to him) So he gets pissed. He tells the lunch teacher, nothing really happens of course. He gets more pissed, but dosnt' want to tell again, because, really, who wans to be a tattletale. So he fumes all afternoon inside, and decided to go find the kid at the tetherball court. Which he does, walks up, says "Bring it" and lands a solid punch square on the side of the kids face. (Um, honey, lets cut down on our ultimate fighting watching, mm'kay?) Well, thats a cute story except the kid goes down to the ground ( Cade was surprised by how wimpy the "bully" was...heheh 'aint it always like that) crying, but heres the kicker..the kid is hearing impaired and has a cochlear implant!!!! So now I'm hoping to not get slapped with a $2,000 bill to fix it or somthing. So far it seems like it'll be OK. So to my crazy mix of embarassment/pride/understanding...My CHILD is SUSPENDED from SCHOOL for 2 days. Not neessarily for punching, but for it being pre-meditated and "taking the law into his own hands". So I can understand that. Part of me feels very guilty because he'd been telling me all this time that a couple kids were kind of giving him trouble, to which my response had been "If you give them a reaction they will continue to bother you" or "did you tell the teacher" Neither of which were very helpful. So this is what it came to. Cade is fine accepting the consequences, he's grounded from all electronics including TV and will be putting 2 full days of housework for me while he's home. But he's fine with that. Hopefully this will put an end to the trouble he's been having. Marks the proud papa of course (you men are SICK) But I understand theres a pcking order and he's doing what it takes to survive and thrive. I'm proud of him for sticking up for himself, even if he made a bad choice on timing. We'll see how it all plays out. SIGHHHHHH.

Somethings brewing.....

Heres the new thing. Today Mark and I were talking about going on the cruise. Right now its in its infancy stage, but we have made a goal to get our deposit in in 2 weeks. Just the thought of going makes me wanna hurl with excitement. I'm not exaggerating. I told Mark that I haven't wanted anything this badly EVER in my life. Thats how bad I want to go. I promised him I would absolutely acieve every goal and work as hard as humanly possible if I could go. He wants to go to, and I know he wants to do this for me. So together we are going to find a way to come up with he funds to do it. I am SO motivated by this prospect. I realize there is a chance it won't happen, but I can't think about that right now. I am so dead serious and I know he is too. We have to find a way. We will find a way. Its killing me right now that I can't get to the gym for another hour. Its also killing me that I'm not going to be able to do circuit training tonight with Mark like we'd planned because he has softball games. Grrrrrr. SO you thought my 4 weeks was good??? Just wait till you see what this momma is gonna pull off in the next 8. I can't wait to see it either. Now its time to rock this shiznit.

4 week pictures and stats

I did it!!! I reached my hip measurement goals. Well, lets back up, I'll give the run down first.

pounds lost-7(I'm not counting the TOM bloat I have going on at this moment)

Inches lost:

Thigh:1.23
Hip:2.5
Waist:4.5

My butt measured 39.5 this a.m., my goal is 35 inches. If I concentrate on that, everything else will fall into place. I feel so happy and I am really gaining steam for this. I had an almost perfect week again and the scale showed a 3 pound gain. It OK though because I did my best, and it will all even out at some point. No worries. I am SO in the zone with this. You guys are such a fantastic support team, I can't even begin to tell you. I think having Mark getting in shape along side me is really helping too. He is really starting to learn about food and what he should and should not be eatng on his own. He has made huge progress as well. You guys don't even know how big of a change this is for him and I am soooooo proud of him. I'm gonna put his pics on here too later once I get them ready.

I am really sad that so many of my awesome blends are struggling!!!I am here for you guys and it's all gonna be OK!!! I promise!! I love all of you and you all inspire me to be better every day. Whether you are on or off or on the fence, I believe in you!!! We have strength in numbers, and there is something so incredible about each one of you individually!!! YOU ALL ROCK!!!!!

My turn to dream

I usually don't remember my dreams much, but the one last night was pretty funny. I dreamed I was at dinner with Bill Phillips. We were sitting there and he was really not talking much, being kind of standoffish, and I felt kinda stupid, we were just sitting there with our food. Finally I was like "what the hell, I'm at dinner with the guy, who does he thnk he is? I should be talking to him no matter what" so I just started asking him all kind of questions but they were stupid like "so do you still only do the 20 minutes of HITT?" and just really basic stuff. Then we ended up having a nice time I think. Funny, huh??

I conquered a pan of brownies this after noon. Now you know how it is by Thursday afternoon on BFL, The tiredness form the workouts is setting in, I was late on a meal, so I was starved but I was doing scouts and couldn't help it. The other scout lady had made these glorious looking things...They looked INCREDIBLE!!!!! But all I could think of was my weigh in on saturday and PICTURES and I just had to pass on a brownie. DAMN I'm proud of myself. I really worked my upper body HARD this morning at 5:30 in the gym too. My back muscles are already sore. Oh yeah, BABY!! I've gotten up every day this week except once at 5:30 or earlier to get to the gym. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (LOL I just accidentally typed that! LOL) Seriously I'm getting pretty worn down. But tomorrow is cardio and I have an appointment at 9 so it's gotta get done EARLY which sucks. I had a lot of TV to watch tonight too, that I missed, so looks like Marks gonna be pissed when I crash halfway thru Lost. A-gain. He says he's married to a geriatric woman. I'm up early like an old lady and I fall asleep early. Hehehe

I could pretty much copy and paste yesterdays post here. I DID get up last night and got things put together.:D Took a whopping 45 minutes. Got lots done again today...But here I am again. Mark out with a church excursion, kids in bed(sort of) and here I sit, watching American Idol. BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Please somebody......

Yell in my face to get my ass off the computer and do some laundry already!!! I'm tired, but I'm not that tired, mostly just lazy. L A Z Y!!!!!Marks at softball, kids are in bed(sort of), no clean clothes for tomorrow. I worked hard today and now if I'd just get in there I'd be done with the straightening up in an hour. WORD TO THE WISE>>>>>IF you hate housework, IF you can't just let it go, DO NOT have more than 2 children. And definetly DON"T have boys. They are pigs. I'm serious, remember Pig Pen from Peanuts??? Yeah, I have 4 of those. Crossed with 4 tasmanian Devils. Wyatt put down about 1000 cals today(I didn't actually count, thats just my best description of the volume of food he consumed) and guess who prepared all 10 of his meals today?? Yup, ME. He crashed at the kitchen table during dinner. Dead asleep. Growth spurt anyone??? LOL I need a full-time housekeper sooooo bad! Or even a clone. I probably have a better chance of getting a clone. I'm stuffing my face with snap peas, trying to avoid the wheat crackers and pudding cups. Yeah, I finlly got hungry. Damn Kashi wheat crackers are a little too good. And the Del monte grapefruit cups. Holy shamoli they are sooooooo good!!! Serenity NOW!!! Breathe in, breathe out. I need to make a batch of protein pudding but I'm out of skim milk. If it wasn't so late I'd ask my neighbor. Mabye I'll call anyway. they're young, they're probably up. I'm desperate!!!

Thats it I'm going right now. Seriously, now I am going. Right now. Now.

Help me understand

This will likely be long and rant-ish, but stick with me here. I need your input. Some of you remember back when I was talking about the weight problem at my church among the ladies. (I'd say 70% are more than 50 lbs overweight, 20% of those 100+lbs)
The background of the story today is thet the lesson in the womens meeting at church was about respecting our bodies as created by God. Good subject. I know the teacher and I had actually talked to her previously(and I inspired her to join the gym! YAY!)I had expressed all my thoughts on the subject to her and told her that I may have to chime in on a couple points, which she was fine with that.

So the big lesson commences. I start hearing all the same points being brought up that frustrate me and have for years. But I just didn't feel like it was the right forum to go spouting off from my soapbox. I didnt' want to derail the teacher(she could have handled it, but still)So I stayed quiet, even though it about killed me. Here are some examples of what was being said.

"My mother always taught me that you should spend a few moments at home making yourself presentable, then once you walk outside you should completely forget about yourself and concentrate on helping others"

"I used to feel terrible about myself when I was in my teens and I was thin then. Now I realize I have a weight problem, but I'm OK with that because I love myself and who I am."

"I hate to disillusion you younger women, but at my age(about 65) you're just happy your still holding together"

On one hand I am really steaming, but on the other hand I know that this is what we have been taught and this is what they are telling themselves to cope with their reality. I just felt like i would have been way out of line to say what I wanted to, which was:

"Sisters, if we don't take care of our bodies, they are not going to last us long enough and all these plans you may have had for your golden years are not going to be realized. If you are ill (i.e. diabetes, back problems, hip problems, arthritis, etc) how can you ecpect to be serving others, working at the temple, going on a mission with your spouse, bringing in meals to others, etc."

"If we could just give a small amount of time to ourselves as mothers, we will have the energy to actually give MORE to our families and those we love. Its not selfish to plan meals that are healthy and spend a reasonable time every day exercising. That stuff is not just for pampered sociallites!! We need it to relieve stress and feel good about ourselves."

"You won't realize how dragged down and sick you feel when you aren't wating properly and exercising, and how much your mental outlook will improve, until you truly change your habits. Even in 1 week its an incredible difference"

*SIGH* I'm just not sure I would have carried much credibility with most of these ladies, just because to them I'm young(to some of them), and small(comparitively). SO I signed up to teach a fitness/nutrition class, and I hope some people will take it. I mean, everyone knows they need to lose weight. I hope I get to do it(if people sign up, I will) and I hope they will give me a little "plug" for it when that happens.

SO THE QUESTION IS>>>>>>>
Does anyone have ANY advice as to what I could say that would not be offensive, yet really a wakeup call and get some of these ladies(even the older ones) to realize its not too late and overflowing your chair(by a lot in some cases) is NOT OK!!! We're not talking the road to hotness, its like fitting in a chair. Is there anything I can even say??? I realize every person must be ready, and be in a place that they are willing to change. HELP!!! These are wonderful ladies that deserve better than they are giving themselves!!

Good stuff this week

I'm so happy with this week. I really kicked ass in the gym. I ate clean all week avg. 4 meals a day. Gotta get 5 or 6 every day next week. I will!! I did slip up on the white/butterscotch chips. That was bad. I had about 1 1/2 cups worth spread over 2 days. Ummm, dosn't sound too bad, you say??? Yeah, weel 1 TABLESPOON on those babies has 80 CALORIES, 35 of them FAT. I had a cup and a half. OUCH!!! But I made up for it last night by doing a nice brisk 5 mile run. Felt GREAT. My respiratory capacity is really improving. It really did feel good. I think I was doing about a 10.5 minute mile. Not too crazy fast, but going good. Looks like it worked, I was down another 2 pounds this week. 7 total in 3 weeks. Measurements are down too. GREAT!I'm at the point where I was at the end of my first challenge, so that is good. I did HIIT this am, and its freeday (I split my freeday up). So far, I've had some honey nut cheerios, 3 eggs with feta cheese, and a grapefruit. YUMMY!!

We have 4 week pics in 1 week, people, get it into gear!!!!!

Myspace

I think I'm done with myspace. I know a lot of you guys like it but it is starting to creep me out. Sure, at first it was kinda fun but I'm gettting some creepy guys messaging me and they are local, which I find a little unnerving. One message was from a guy who grad HIGH SCHOOL in 2004 and was like "hey you wouldn't believe what us young guys could do for an "OLDER" woman" HOLY CRAP!!! Who does he think I am, Mrs Robinson??? AAAAAKKKK! A lot of these guys are MARRIED and still looking for GF's. Its freaking me out. So now I have to delete my profile somehow. I hardly go there anyway. Oh well. You know what so funny though? If I were (heaven forbid) to hook up with some young guy I probably WOULD be totally different than the 17 yr old bimbos theyre used to. AHHHH! TMI!!! OK I'm just finding the humor in it all. SCAAAAAAAAAAAARY!!!

The queen has fallen......

Yes, I am no longer master of my domain. ROFL I am REFERRING TO the handful of white chocolate chips I ate this morning. Get your mind out of the gutters, people!! LOL A small slip, but a black mark on the perfections chart nonetheless. My HIIT was a struggle this am, I didn't make up any sleep and the low cals are finally hitting me. So today calls for NO housework, a big nap, and 6 good clean meals(and some white choc chips) My dad is going to come to the gym with me tomorrow and shred my arms, um, I mean, help me with a workout that he says will get me benching 100 no problemo. We shall see.

UPDATE on some people in my world......

Mark is kicking butt! He had a rough week with the nutrition, but his workouts are getting better. Oh, yeah, even with all the mess-ups ("What, hot wings are chicken, so its alright, right?? OH COME ON!!!" His stomach is way down, and his upper body is getting much better. Men make me so jealous!! He's been lifting the 5 gallon water bottles full of water for his upper body Tee heee. He's looking goood. plus being very supportive. I can't keep my hands off of him.;)

My step mom is continuing to do her workouts with her trainer. I am so proud of her. The whole family is doing well in that respect. Eating good and exercising.

I was talking to this gal from church who has always been overweight and is now preggo with her 4th, I gave her a pep talk, and told her how great I'd been feeling, the gym is a great break from the kids, yadda yadda, and she called yesterday to tell me she joined a gym and is ready to hit it after the baby. I was so thrilled about that. AWESOME!!

Taking my dedication to (freakish) new levels

As some of you may know I go through these crazy episodes that defy all reason to get things done. Slow and steady does NOT win the race for me. I prefer lazy butt and then a gigantic BURST of cleaning induced psychosis , followed by more laziness. I usually end up pulling an all nighter. It had gotten so bad(the laszy) that I had been spending umpteen hours on the 'puter(Kids? I have kids??) and I kid you not up until 4 pm yesterday my christmas tree was up and fully decorated. AAAHHHH! I kind of forgot it was there. It really wasn't bothering me, but I kind of realized that if someone stopped by, say from church or something, I might end up on the "needs service" list so I figured I better get it taken care of. I was a little embarassed when my neighbor saw me taking the boxes into the garage. Oopsie. Well the whole thing flipped a switch and I realized it was almost 2 am and the kitchen was still a mess and the floors could not be seen or I would DEFINETLY end up on the list. I really was not tired. I hadn't taken any caffeine since like 6 that morning, so it wasnt that either. I dunno. So the all nighter goes on. I worked until about 4, then decided well I'm up this late, I may as well finish up and just go straight to the gym a 5:30. So, pop goes the "fatburner" and I just went straight to my leg workout,(which was killer BTW) NO SLEEP. Got home, got the kids to school, Laid down for an hour, now here I am, peppy as if I"d had a solid 8. Its almost 10:30 and Im trying to choke down breakfast. I cut it down to a 1/4 C. oats and a little less protein powder, I'm half done and I"m stuffed. This is M1. What is wrong with me????? I can't rest anymore until after 3 now, because I have a hair client coming in 2 hours, a kid to get to kinder, and I still have to go to thw beauty supply. Really after 3 is no good either, because it homework and house full of hungry kids. I'm really happy I got my workout in today. Am I losing it???

2 trailer park girls go 'round the outside.....

LOL its Eminem day, folks!!!I took it up another notch and got 2.00 miles in 19 minutes. I wanted to give out a big 'ol HELL YEAH but I would've looked like a stupid-head. LOL Especially to the 2 women walking leisurely next to me. :P So put me down for 2.5 weeks of PERFECTION!!! I feel so great. On that note, I have to show ya something......

Alrighty I feel so good but I took this picture and I see a big big pair of jeans. So, what do we learn from this??? I think what happening is that I am sooo focused and I am truly envisioning myself as much leaner, I am telling myself I am a size 4 all day long, and it is happening, but my mind is way ahead of my body. But this is a good thing, do you see? Because as long as my mind thinks it, and my behavior lives it, I will become it. Soon. That, along with a few other cool things is getting this big arse to the gym come hell or high water. I almost feel like I've hypnotised myself, is that crazy???

I have eaten 3 meals, albeit small, so I can hopefully get my eating back up. At least for today. I had 1/2 c. lf cottage and a yogurt and I am a little sick but I will keep going. I do NOT want to mess anything up, and one of my goals is to eat all 5 (if not 6) meals a day, if I only have 4 that is NOT meeting the goal. Gotta go get the chicken on the barb-y right now. MMMMMM sounds good!

Have a great day you guys!!!

What the........???!!!

Where did my profile and links go??? Well I hope they come back soon!

Did a great UBWO today, I didn't get my 100 lbs bench today, in fact I got it up and my right arm gave and the plates crashed to the ground. LOL OOPS!!!Well I got my 3 reps with 80 again and I'll just keep building up. Soon, soon. It was sure heavy though.

I'm eating great, had a great free day, it was just right, I didn't blow my calories out of the water, and it was gooooood!!(TGIFridays burger, mmmm)I stil have been struggling to eat more. Still under 1000 yesterday. EEEK. Well, I'm still not wanting to force myslf to eat. I just CAN"T. I am going to listen to my body. Hopefully it will want more cals tomorrow.

In the last 2 weeks I've lost 4 pounds, 4 INCHES off my waist alone, Its going really well. Feeling soooo good!! Keep it going!! Can't wait for HIIT tomorrow.

Getting ready to watch Darla on Oprah. Thats so cool.

Friday, January 13, 2006

Its all about me me me!!

Help! I'm not eating enough!! Like not even CLOSE! I think I mabye got 800 cals yesterday, and today I bet Im not to 500 yet. I'm not sick, I feel fine, just nothing sounds good. AT ALL. Not even the junk. I havn't even really been thinking that freeday is tomorrow! I got a little hungry a couple times, tried to go get something good and authorized, it just seemed like so much trouble. So I drank some water and I'm good. I had a GREAT LBWO today, I really upped the weights, and shredded my legs and butt. Thanks, Betagen! :) Well, I'm not going to force feed myself, I will make a solid effort to have a good portion sized authorized dinner, then I will hopefull be able to have some cottage cheese before bed. I really do want to have something in me for tomorrows HIIT. I need the energy. I havn't crashed yet, and I'm hoping freeday tomorrow will save me in the nick of time, as long as I really do good with nutritious food, in bigger portions, oooh, mabye a steak??

I ordered an Omron bodyfat tester, hopefully it wil be here monday. Yikes! Do I really want to know??

OK heres the deal with my water. I got suckered in yesterday by this cute O Premium water salesman. I am VERY good at telling salesguys to hit the road, but for some reason I stuck around and listened to the pitch. Now, to me, buying water, especially having it delivered to you house in those huge botles is like the most picky, self absorbed thing ever. I was never really picky, I just knew Arrowhead bottled water tasted yucky, and so did the tap, so I'd gather my quarters and get it from the vending machine for myself, everyone else could do whatever. Mark loves the taste out of the tap (EWW) But he put an electrolysis tester in out tap water, out fridge "filtered" water and some from the vending machine and this is what it looks like. He didn't add anything, I watched very carefully. This is just what happens when the water is separated from the "stuff" in it.

Yeah, the darker one is the tap, the lighter one is from the fridge door. The one I had from water n ice vending machine was better but it looked like a very dehydrated persons urine. Tons of rust in it. WE"VE BEEN DRINKING THIS!!! EW EW EW! SO, we got the freakin water, which is also forified with electrloytes. It tastes awesome, but for 40 bucks a month it better!! If I can't afford it I'll just quit, but I don't know if I can ever drink regular water after seeing that. AZ is notorious for the horrible water, but thats just scary. ANyway, now I will be enjoying 30 degree fresh, electrolyte/calcium/magnesium forified water every day. I can drink bout twice as much of the stuff, by the way, that must mean something!

Like I said, its all about me!!! LOL

BFL Challenge Musings

I think its gonna be a struggle for all of us who have done a sucessful challenge to go through it all again. It seems like it went by kind of fast, but that is probably because its in the PAST. I am afraid some of us kinda forgot how tough it was, now we can look back like "oh, yeah, that was so awesome" but I personally remember being in actual hot tears after a few Saturday morning weigh-ins where I'd done 110% all week and got NOTHING! (or so I thought) So I am really trying to remember that before the crap hits the fan. (mabye this week?) It can't all be about losing pounds and inches, it has to also be about what we are doing for our HEALTH! Our blood pressure, our tri-glycerides, our cardiovascular fitness, all those other good things that being fit does. Otherwise we will be insane! (too late for some of us LOL)Lets all try to gauge our sucess by how well we did on the program, not just the visible results, MMM'kay Pumpkins??? And one more thing, someone shoot this message back at me when I get on here in a blubbering pile of sorrow over my big butt that won't budge, alrighty???

Totally unrelated sidenote: You know what I was saying the other day about the WE channel....Some magazine guy saw it and is going to put part of it in his publication(whatever that is) something about how Lifetime is screwing everybody. LOL Well, I went a little overboard with my post meaning it to be kind of comical, but I guess he thought it sounded good. LOL Ahhhh, too funny. I asked him to send me a copy of whatever it was he prints.

Off the subject...

I think the WE channel is actually the piss me off channel. Dish replaced Lifetime with this train wreck and I am literally watching like a train wreck..I can't look away. Shows like "Daddy spoiled little girl" and "the secret lives of women" are kind of ticking me off. Damn, I don't have the luxury of these "disorders". Compulsive shopping, Yeah, right!! This lady squandered her life savings, her husbands and her credit cards and a trust fund shopping at Target and Pottery Barn. Another girl had so many big black garbage bags of new clothes she wouldn't let her parents over to visit. I know, I know, its a sickness that they have, but its a little irritating to us hard working folks. I was so thrilled last night, I had taken back a tablecloth to Walmart I didn't use at Christmas, and used 5 of the 10 bucks I got back on a pair of shoes on clearance at Payless. (they are super cute shoes...the little flat beaded slippers)Don't even get me started on the Daddys girl show.

Alright I know this is like months behind, I'm a lame-o, aright? I saw on CMT the CMA awards and I saw my *LOVER* Rick Shroeder (yup, good 'ol mormon ranch boy. who actually has a home here in Scottsdale) WIN the best video director for a country music video. OK, he was a major dork when he gave his acceptance speech but I was thrilled for him. I didn't even know that he had directed a video, and I hadn't seen that one. So I looked it up and I'm tellin ya, I was in tears!! SO I put it here for your tear-jeakin pleasure. I thought this song was sad BEFORE I saw the video, holy cow!!!
Whiskey Lullaby

Now to fitness: Apparently my encouragement to my step mom had a little effect this weekend, she called this evening to tell me that she worked out twice this week with a trainer and started on an eating program! She was so excited to tell me. I am so stoked for her!! She has about 100 pounds to lose, right now she's going for 50 to start. I am so proud of her. Its been years since she was a healthy weight. She needs to get off her diabetes meds and get living again!! I really love her and I know she can do it.

Everything else is just floating along A-OK, HIIT was great today, UBWO tomorrow is my fave. I need to get a food scale and double check my portions, just to make sure though. Yeee-HAW!

My weekend was really fun! I had a great time with my parents and 2 of my brothers and 2 of my sisters. My mom (mom to the 2 brothers) drove up to see my brothers enw baby. It was a little stressful trying to juggle the 2 familys (dad/stepmom vs. 'mom') but it was fine. The kids had fun, even though Cooper was really sick getting over strep. I had a fab freeday. On the drive up I got a big and tasty burger from McD's and I swear it was instantly absorbed by my body, I'm serious. Then at my parents I had yogurt and some chunky soup, which actually made me MORE hungry. SOOOO I finally caved and dove into a pizza (fabulous!) and the later had some sherbet ice cream. I felt good, wasn't too sick. Then sunday was a bit challenging, I ate on plan a couple tiny meals but then I had the family dinner, which was pork ribs (I had like 2 ) and some scalloped potatoes(whoopsie) and a little chocolate cake(whoopsie again) SO I feel pretty bad about sunday, but I will make up for it this week with some extra cardio and I punished myself with my LBWO today. I increased weight on ALL my exercises(by a lot on a couple)and I feel pretty good. I think some extra water might be in order today as well! Lets hit week 2 hard again!!! Did everyone read their goals today???

On another note, SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!! I can't wait!!!My routine is ready to go!!!! I can't wait to have my great schedule back!! And its gonna be on for 12 weeks!! Woo hoo! Not that I don't love the kids...But get the heck to school already!!!!

Have a great BFL day!!!

Week 1 DONE

I'm on cloud 9, feeling great, had a great week!! I told Mark last night, I dont care if I didn't lose anything, because I could NOT have done anything better. I hit my workouts HARD, and ate squeaky clean, drank all my water. Thats all I can do, and I am content with that. Yes, I was rewarded on the scale this morning, too which made it all the sweeter. I am so psyched for next week. Now I'm off to play for the weekend, I'm going to visit my parents and see my new baby nephew and chill till monday morning. Free day today, Hmmmm, what to do, what to do??

HITT'n it!!

Today ROCKED- A-gain!!!I am in a total fitness zone, and I feel great!Dana came and picked me up and we kicked some butt at the gym. First we did our HIIT which was fun, I'd never done a BFL workout with anyone before and it was so cool! Then we went and tried the hanging knee raises with the slings, which I had never done, I had always used the chair thingy. I almost thought it was a little easier in the slings. I am definetly doing it in the slings from now on. Then I showed Dana the pull up machine, and we did a few of those, then she got me going on push ups, and we both did 2 sets of 10, which I thought I couldn't do, especially since my arms and chest were still toasted from mondays workout. It felt great! We really gave it our all on our HIIT!

Todays eating was really good, I didn't eat what I had scheduled but I still ate great, even though I went to Applebees I got the tilapia with mango salsa and steamed veggies, and water. The kids french fries didn't even call my name. Right now I am making wild rice and shrimp over a big green salad. I can't wait it sounds so yummy! I got all my water in already so I will be over a gallon since I am still thirsty.

NEWSFLASH!! Mark is working out!! And is still eating good, too! Yeah, its been like 5 days and he is already looking better. BRAT! Hes doing an isometric workout he got from one of my magazines, and jump roping. He challenged me to his jumprope workout tonight. Of course I couldn't say no! LOL He's been doing 5 sets of 200 fast jumps. I think he thought it would kick my butt more than it did. I wasn't breathing as hard as he was. It was taking us about 1.5 minutes to do the 200, then about a 3 minute rest in between. 1,000 jumps total! I gotta say, after the second set of 200 I was wondering if I could do it all, but I DID!! The funniest part was seeing the kids. They were all over us, and wanting to jumprope with us, so we showed the big kids how its done. We all did some pushups too. Cade has some good form on those babies! He informed us that he did the most pushups in his class in P.E. 25!! I didn't know that! By the end Cade really started to get the hang of the jumproping thing. It was fun. The kids had so much fun. We need to do more stuff like that with them. It was cool.

UBWO again tomorrow, giddyup!!

See ya in 3 months!!!

This is quoting Mark at the end of the outburst he shot me last night. LOL It was about 8 pm. I had crashed on the bed surrounded by Fitness magazines, the house was a mess, I had been on the puter way too much, and he's trying to eat healthier (he thiks he's starving to death and the food is gross)and he's a huge GRUMP(caffeine/fast food withdrawls) so he says to me "GREAT! no more computer time for me, your gonna be asleep early every night, fine then, see you in 3 months!!!" After I woke up I was able to get up and make us a little something to eat, and spend some time together. He told me a couple weeks ago that I seemed "friskier" when I was a little "chunkier". Ohh, poor guy. Either he gets a horny fatty or a hottie who isn't interested(or is at least to tired from working out all the time) ROFL PPPPSSSSHHTTTT whatever!!! I am really going to make an effort not to "forget" my cutie pie!

So far my challenge is HOT!!!Eating great, no cravings. I have hit both workouts HARD and it feels unbelievable!! I've dropped 2 pounds of water weight already and I thought I'd post a couple goals. I'm keeping it pretty simple this time.

Starting weight 147 (using a new scale thats 5 lbs heavier than last challenge)
GOAL:125(thats 2 lbs per week for 11 weeks-totally doable!)

Goal:read my goals every morning and night(that sounds wierdlol)

GOAL: bench press 100 lbs
current:70 lbs

Really thats about it. Its the *KISS* challenge:
Keep It Simple, Stupid LOL

I've been so lucky I've talked to Dana, Steff, AND Dani Parker this week, talk about motivating! I'm totally loving this!!!

My HIIT was really tough today but it will get better, I know.

P.S. I heart Tracker!!!

Day 1

Last night was spent planning. schemeing, and looking thru some MM mags to get inspired(thanks Dani!! :) I was ill all evening since I had tried to gorge myself to death all day culminating with the chili cheese dip and chips (for whch I am still paying the price for today). I have consumed liter after liter of Diet Coke, barely a drop of water, and enough chocolate to fill 5 Christmas stockings over the last month. As I was planning my meals last night, the food I was scheduling sounded SO good to me! I'd kill for a piece of toasted ezekiel bread with EFL egg salad on it right now. (I'm going shopping as soon as I shower-YAY!)

I was up with the alarm this morning(6:15 since Mark will be home this morning)I could have gotten up later to go but I need to get my day going and get in the habit of getting up early. I DID IT!! Went to the gym and kicked my butt (or actually my arms and chest) and I figured I better type now, since my entire upper body will be worthless here in a few hours. LOL It feels great!! I mean, I am just on cloud 9. I'm gonna go ahead and dose up with ibuprofen now, I didn't hold anything back on the weights and its gonna be a little scary later...

A thought on pictures........

I am SO PROUD of everyone for putting up their pictures on the tracker!!! I mean it!!Including myself, I did NOT want to put them on there, its very humbling, I could have just put them on my blog where they could be a little more obscure, but you guys really made me feel like I could put them up now. We ARE in this together. And we will suceed together!! I have felt like I have let everyone down by not doing my best this last few months, and I thought I'd be really depressed about my pictures, but I wasn't. Wanna know why?? Bcause I already know what to do to change my body! I had the solution before I even knew how bad the problem was, so its OK!! Isn't that the abyss??? The HOPE??? I am not despairing about how bad I look/feel right now, because all I am looking at is the future, and what I have to do everyday to make it happen. And we know the results DO come!!

Lets go people!!!!!
