OK OK here it is!!! THE VIDEO!!!! (well, most of it anyway)

I have to tell you that Mark put this whole thing together for me, he ROCKS!!! If anyone is even remotely interested in coming to the Champs weekend in TN, hopefully this will kinda show you what a blast we're gonna have!!!!This cuts off unfortunatly before the end, hopefully I'll figure out how to get the end on there soon. I realize theres a lot of shots of me in there, but we weren't really planning on doing this project with it so ignore me. Looks like all of the booty shots he got of me were on the end part that didn't make it on here so WHEW!!

Another cruise update break.....

I just wanted to report in on how everything else was going. I have really struggled getting back into the swing of life over here. My challenge is going well, though. It finally happened, I got sick. My number was up, for sure, I havent' had so much as a cold in over a year, partly due to the healthy lifestyle, partly due to regular chiro visits. I think I got a stomach thing once last year for 24 hurs, thats it. Pretty good. Unfortunatley this week my luck ran out, and I got PMS, a cold, and add that to coming home to my real life and starting a new challenge(ohhhh, my aching BODY) with all the soda, fat, and sugar withdrawls its been a little rough. PMS week is'nt the ideal week to detox, but on the other hand, just rip it off quick ike a band-aid, right?? Miraculously, I have stuck to my diet perfectly, exept for a couple missed meals due to being asleep. It laso helps that I cna't really taste of smell. I missed my workout yesterday, my head was pounding so bad I could hardly see, but I ate clean. Today I just decided I have to suck it up so I took some Dayquil, I may have to add ibuprophen to that because so far my head is still pounding but I have to get to the gym. I'm gonna walk at a high incline for cardio abd then do LB. Then I HAVE GOT to get unpacked and get this house put back together. Its driving me bonkers. Im actually contemplating a trip to the laundromat, I betcha I have 10+ loads of clothe to wash, I could get it all done in 2 hours and just be done with it. Hmmm, sounds tempting. I also need to get a quote from Merry Maids....(HAHA *snort*)

Cruise-Day 3

I didn't get much sleep the night before, We had to be up and get to breakfast before it closed at 11...:P We hooked up with Jen and Dave and Caroline and her hubby at breakfast, and got one of their walkie-talkies. We found them in Nassau and walked around shopping for souvenier stuff. it was all pretty much touristy crap, and mosto fo the good stuff like shark jaws and shell stuff was too fragile. There was Atlantis to go to, or another resort called Breezes, but it cost like 30 bucks apiece to even jsut go in and sit by their pool, we figured we could do that on our ship anyway, so we had the dollar bus take us over to this street called "Fish Fry".

It came recommended by locals, which is what we wanted, the "real" bahamas stuff. It was pretty good, Mark got Deep fried lobster, I got the grilled Conch, which is a locally caught shellfish. It was a little rubbery, but not bad. I ate it all, anyway so it must have been ok. The company we had was definetly the best part! Then we took the dollar bus back to the shopping area. We ended up shopping in this place called the "Straw market", you know the place all these ports have with the t-shirts, knock-off designer bags, stuff that looks all island-y but really comes from a factory somwhere. We ended up getting the little boys these carved shell turtles on a string, spiderman t-shirts, I got Sadie a couple of bracelets, Cooper got a bamboo whistle thing, and Cade a pirate skull piggy bank. Woo hoo. Then we went back ot he room to shower, change and eat dinner at the buffet(steak tenderloin....YUM) and head out to Senor Frogs.

Mark held the floor in place at the VIP section while I went out and danced. It was fun. I know Jim Shelton has some incriminating video somewhere, I'm a little scared for that to surface!

We had to break up the party at 11:30 and head back to the ship, so we went out to the pool and there was a huge pool party with a barbecue buffet. There were a coupke of pinapple towers(5 feet tall)stuck with hundreds of skewers of fresh fruit, it was gorgeous! Plus of course ribs and chicken and who knows wat else, I didn't make it all the way around. I think there was a taco bar too. I was able to talk to Porter Freeman for a minute, that was cool. It did start to rain pretty hard just as we were leaving port, but that only lasted a couple minutes, because we sailed away from it.

We goofed around kissing our biceps and showing our abs(why I thought that was a good idea after the way I'd been eating and sucking down the Coke, is beyond me)Then went up to the club to shake our Shakiras a litte more. Mark did come with this time, there was only a little while till the club closed down again. Side note was that the DJ was pretty sucky. He had no clue what we were requesting. He played the same songs both nights, which ironically were also some of the same ones that the DJ at Senor Frogs played. I seriously heard the Madonna mix 3 times. I like to Vogue and all, the first ti e its fun, the second time its funny, the third time its annoying. Well, its actually annoying the first time, but anyway.

We closed down the club, then went to bed.

Cruise day 2-this is a long one!

Alrighty day 2 was also super great. We slept like ROCKS. We got up and went up to breakfast, the buffet was good, pretty much every thing healthy and unhealthy you could think of they had. I was partial to the bran muffins, bacon, and scrambled eggs. Apparently there were made to order omlettes, I found this out the last morning, oh well. We went and got in line to get of the boat and and get taken to Cococay, the island belonging to the cruise line.

It was cool though because it was all beachy, tons of lounges and hammocks, everything painted bright and crazy, and the weather was gorgeous. Very picturesque. This was the place that a lot of people did the excursions. We ended up glad we didn't do anything. There was some water-parkish things to do for 20 bucks a person, jetskis, snorkeling, stuff like that, but it was all pretty expensive, and we just wanted to chill anyway. We ended up signing up for the BFL Wacky Olympics. We were just gonna watch everyone else be wacky, but they needed more people so we signed up. Lucky us though we were on the WINning team. We swept the first few events, like put on a wet t-shirt,do 10 rotations with a hula hoop and back, pass shirt to next in line. then there was race around the hula hoop with a balloon between your legs, run with a ping pong ball on a paddle, Ring toss over a soda can in the sand, that sort of stuff. We lost the last few, but our first few wins were enough to keep us in first place. It was fun, but people were definetly competitive! I'm glad we ended up doing it. We got cool gym bags filled with a visor, towel, that sort of stuff, so there was an actual prize. There are many incriminating pictures yet to surface of this event. Yikes!

We played around in the water for a while, then headed out to the big barbecue lunch, ribs, BBQ chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, and all the trimmings, plus dessert. YUM! Then we walked around the shops(all "LOCAL" type of stuff)then went back.
We went up to the pool, Mark was antsy thinking bout missing the soccer game so he went to find the World Cup game in the lounge. I stayed out with Lori and Casey, then Lori had a hair appt. for formal night so I sat with Udenia by the pool for a while. By then I was sunned out so I went back and took a litle nap.

Then it was time to get ready for formal night, I had 2 choices, the skin tight gown or the more modest, comfy black dress. I debated for a while, but I went with the less sexy, comfy one. I had gained since I first got the evening gown, and I wouldn't be able to eat anything, I already looked 6 mos preggo with all the eating Id been doing, so I went with the safe choice. I felt bad though, we missed the BFL cocktail party before dinner, but we got in on the big group picture. Then on to dinner. Woo hoo!

Video Hosting - Upload Video - Video Sharing

Dinner consisted of 2 appetizers(I couldn't decide) 2 entrees, salad, bread by the basket full, and dessert. I can't remember what I had the second night, I know the first night I had a seafood ravioli, but it was small and Misty's prime rib looked good, so I got one of those too. I didn't feel too bad though, Aaron and Candace went to the buffet and ate right before dinner every night, then came and ate with us. HAHA!!! I know the last night I ordered 2 of everything too, even dessert I had the Key lime pie and a big ol brownie. Ahh, so fab. After dinner I think we just hung around, i can't really remember but then we went to the CHOCOLATE BUFFET at midnight. It was actually more like deserts made with chocolate, it sounded a little better then it actually was. Suzanne kept saying "I want globs of chocolate!! Where are the chocolate globs??" LMAO

I went and changed, then went out to the dance club with all the peeps while Mark crashed in the room. We danced until 4 when they finally kicked us out. You know me and club thing, I'm all over it! SO SO fun!!! Some of these guys are gooood dancers! Well 4 was late enough for me, I went to bed but some people went out to the pool. Fun stuff!!!

Station identification

We will take a break from our regularly scheduled program to bring you the following:

I'm on cloud 11 this morning. I was totally inspired on the cruise to start a AZ BFL meetup group in my area. Scary prospect, but I am compelled to do it. Jerry Braam said something on the cruise about that you don't have to be a "champ" to start a group, any Barnes and Noble or the like will host it for you and advertise. Dana and I both had the same thought, we just need to start our own. If fact, thats what led me to tracker, was the fact there is nothing going on locally here. So Dana and I discussed it and we are doing it. I called Barnes and Noble at the Chandler mall(very high traffic) and talked to them, looks like its a go!!!!!! The activities director is gonna call me back later today. I'm SO PUMPED!!!! As soon as I get a date (hopefully about 3 weeks from now to have some time to get the buzz out)And I need to call Jerry and get some guidance!! Aaron Ferguson has already volunteered to come and speak some time(we'll save that till we can get some good attendance) WOO HOOO!

Add that to the fact that I helped my friend Becky with her first UBWO this morning, she did awesome I am just so excited right now!!!

OK day 2 of cruise coming soon, I promise.

Day 1 of the cruise

Our flight was was good, layover good, we tried to sleep since it was an all night flight but that never really works. We get to Orlando where Dana and her son picked us up (she had rented a car)so we went and ate breakfast and then turned in the car and they drove us to the port. It was so stinking exciting!! Suzanne was texting Dana the whole time "Are you here yet??" and we got here and checked in fine. I get nervous, even though I knew I had all my papers in order I was just sure I'd forgotten something(jeez I need to get out more!) so we go to our room and shower and change. Who will we see?? OOh it was so exciting! We found Dana who had found Suz and Kate, Suzanne is TALL! I felt like a midget next to her and Dana! We just started walking all over, we checked out the ship a little and it seems like there was someone new to find all over the place. A bunch of people ended up at the pool so we changed again and went out there. I just started introducing myself to people, some people recognized me as "jamber" which was nice and surprising. When we had gone to sign up and get our shirts and bracelets Jerry yelled out "JAMBER!!" and that really put me at ease! I was really glad I'd put my photos up on the slideshow, I think that really helped. Everyone was so awesome!!! We ran into Lori and Casey, finally, we kept getting these little groups of BFLers talking, clogging up lobby traffic, but it was fun. It was hot out but the breeze wasn't bad.

Video Hosting - Upload Video - Video Sharing

Then we went to the pre dinner party and talked more, took a bunch of pictures, all that stuff. I had to slip out in the middle because most of us had come from the pool, but I realized that I was the only one left wearing a bikini top, so that was wierd. LOL So we changed A-gain and went to dinner.

We had THE best dinner table of all!!!! It was Misty and Morgan(friends of Kelly and Shelly) and HELLO!!!!!! Aaron Ferguson and his GF Candace. It was SO AWESOME!!!! I can't even tell you how much fun we had and how much laughing we did.Hopefully Misty will send me her pics soon because I know we took some funny ones. By the lst night we were laughing our RUMPS off with inside jokes and teasing. Totally awesome people. We had the funnest table by far. I just had to add, Aaron is just so genuine, UNsnooty, classy, can totally take a joke, just great. I am totally honored to have him as a friend!!

Then after dinner we went to the hot tub with Casey and Lori and chatted for a while, that was fun. I'm glad we did because I wanted to make sure and spend time with them. It was awesome and we had some good laughs. HAHA I know you are all so jealous!!!!!! Then we went up and got some pizza and ate it with Jerry Braam and his CUTE GF, its so fun to talk to people who have a bigger perspective of BFL and how things look from the inside. Plus getting to know people's personality is the best part. By this time it was after 1 so we crashed. We'd only had 3 hours of sleep, and a loooong day tuesday. Yeah, baby!!!

EDIT: I'm a little bummed right now because I couldn't get blogger to put up pics, so I put them up with dropshots, but I can't get dropshots to put up my video clips, even with a membership and upgraded system. Hopefully I'll get it sorted out, because the videos are funny!

I'm BAAAAAAAACK!!!!!

Did everybody miss me?????? Well too bad because that old girl that left is NOT coming back, its the good old me, as opposed to the bad old me. The motivated, energized body-for-lifer left that grumpy old hag out floating at sea!!! HA!

UNREAL,people!!! It was even better than I expected!! I didn't think that would be possible, but its true! It may sound like cheezy,rah-rah crap to some people, but I don't care because it was one of the best experiences of my life. Mark had just as much fun as I did. We discussed it a length and although the cruise was good, fun at the beach, Nassau, doing new things, all that, it truly was the people we got to know that made the trip so worthwhile. I cant even tell you how cool it was to meet our blends, fellow trackers and champs, all in one place. At first we were wondering if it would be worth it to pay extra for this vacation just so we could be with the BFL group, but truly, honestly, you can't buy that kind of experience!! Mark and I just put ourselves out there and introduced outselves to people, and joined in the activities and it really made the trip great. I mean, we all know that the champs are just people, all that, but really, every single person we met were friendly, engaging, unpretentious folks, who had a lot to share, and did it willingly without being like "well, let me tell you.........". We just chatted, did fun things, it was so COOL!!!!!! It was great because the 2 of us could go together someplace on the ship, and there was someone there we recognized and could hook up with, or just say Hi to, have a brief conversation, it was great! Mark and I spent lots of time together, butdid some things separate too, which worked out well. I've gotten over the fact long ago that he will NOT be joining me on the dance floor. Its fine. He was able to sneak away to the lounge and watch world cup while I was at the pool. Everyone wins! I had been under assumptions about some people(especially champs) that I found to be totally wrong, and surprised at others. I hadn't planned on doing the "Wacky Olympics" but we decided to at the last minute because they needed players and I'm so glad I did!! And not just because our team WON or anything!! LOL Get a bunch of BFLers together and it dosen't matter that we were racing with a wet t-shirt and a hula hoop, it was COMPETITIVE!!!! LOL

OK well I'll stop there with the overview, I'll do a day by day review, because I want to journal it for myself and some of you might want to know what all we did. I have tons of pictures and video clips, its just all so awesome!!!

I already read everybodys blogs, didn't comment, but I was there, right now I have media to sort!! I'm glad to be back!!! Jamber is back in da HOUSE!!!!

Bon Voyage!!!!!!!

First up, I got together with KIM yesterday!!! it was so fun!! We looked at wedding accessories and went to lunch at sweet tomatoes. Her cute mom was with us, it was a great time. She looks SO great, she's TINY!!! Check her blog for the pics, we took a bunch and we laughed a lot. Her mom thought it was funny, within 10 seconds we were talking like old friends, we needed no intro. I LOVE my blends!!! Kim is gonna look amazing for her wedding, and I hope I can go. Its right around my b-day, so mabye a weekend getaway is what I need for a present??? Hmmmm, I'm liking that idea.Plus I MUST meet the MIL, that would be a show in and of itself!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Alright, now I am really starting to get excited abut our trip. BAHAMAS!!!! I did manage to sleep well last night, and slept till almost 8. I got stuff together for my SIL who is watching the kids, insurance cards, phone numbers, meal lists, all that. I'm mostly packed, just need to pick up and do a couple loads of laundry. My bad news is tht my neck is killing me, I think I may have slept on it wrong, but my shoulderblade was bothering me yesterday, it may be related. I went to the chiro friday, he cracked the skeet out of me, it was a good one. I really should have gone back yesterday though. Oh well, its not bad enough to need ibuprofen, yet. I just can't look very far to my right, thats all. :D Our flight leaves tonight at 11, so I have to leave for the airport by 9. I am HOPING my dad gets my kiddos home before I go, I will be crushed if I can't tell them goodbye for the week in person. He's driving from CA today with them, I hope he leaves in time. Hes' kind of a slowpoke. :)

I wanted to wish you all a WONDERUL week, a great Fathers day, be good while I'm gone. Get ready to see the mutha of all transformations begin when I get home. I am already excited, think about what I'll be feeling after meeting all the blends and champs all week. I can't wait to get started. I will be entering the last official 2006 round, June 25 to Sept 18 (day after my 32nd b-day...PERFECT)

Have a great and fabulous week!!! I know I will!!!!

Meet my new lover, Ross

HAHA I mean I went to Ross today and got CLOTHES!!!!! Cute ones, too! It was so super fun. I ran out of time, though so I will have to go back tomorrow. Aww, shoot!! LOL My MIL is coming over early so I can go try to finish up. I LOVE the new stuff I got. Tonight is the fun part, setting out outfits on the bed and deciding what I need and what I can live without. AND I also got to get a new pretty set of nails on, I got my hair done wednsday, and I'm gonna do my toes tonight. I decided to go with the french pedicure.

WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TMI TMI TMI TMI TMI TMI TMI TMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wild crazy adventure below!!!!!

I did a lettle "extra" grooming..........I went and got a real brazillian bikini wax!!!!! *insert scream*

I have to tell because I know ya wanna know!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA

I got a recommendation from a friend for this lady, so I make the appt. I'm not a fan of pubic hair, so I usually shave, but I'm thinking, hmmm, 2 days into the cruise I'm gonna have bumps, and some not so pleasant itchy crack. NOT sexy. Sooooo, here we go.

I go to this ladys house, she's SUPER nice, very friendly, put me RIGHT at ease. I lay down on this bed covered with a towel(everything decorated fancy) and she starts. The first rip....OH MY HOLY CRAP I thought...um I don't know if I can do this, uh, but I can't quit now,,,,,I'm telling her "ow ow that one really hurt, was that the worst of it??" (I said that 5 or 6 times I think, whining like a baby, its kind of a blur now)I'm clenching the pillow I'm laying on(on my back) sweating, I can tell she's trying to distract me with conversation(nice try). MAN it hurts. She was doing about 3 inch by 3 inch sections. She had the towel over my crotch, and she'd move it and do one side at a time. I was definetly breathing through it and breaking out in a sweat. She kept telling me the front was the worst, by far. So she does that and then I flip over onto my stomach(OK this is not for the modest, but really, shes seen it before)and then she waxes the "back". I thought the back hurt just as much if not more, especially that first one. Yowch! And the wax seemed hotter. I didn't have to go on my knees or anything, thank goodness. But she got that done quick. The whole thing was quick. mabye 12 minutes. Then she gave me this lotion to put on and left the room. My skin was a litle tender for about a half hour, and then it felt fine. So there you have my first hand experience. I can't say I love it yet, its only been a couple hours, I still have wax residue. I am glad I did it, now I can say I'm super deluxe high maintenence! LOL I was having second thoughts after that first rip, though. KELLY CLARKSON!!!!!!!! 2 more cool facts, she lives 2 miles from my house, and charged me only 35 dollars!! That is saweet!!!

So that is my crazy wild adventure. I still have tons to do, but I have a long night to do it all, and the coolest...I'm meeting KIM tomorrow for lunch!! Doing the happy dance!!! Its gonna be so fun!!! YAY!!!

Well, gotta go play fashion parade and get packed. Ta Ta!!!

I have no buiness blogging right now....

3 hours of sleep in 48 hours...NOT good. I kept the little guys up late(yes, that is the secret, but it dosen't work 100% of the time)so we can all sleep in. It was wierd this morning, Mark walked in the door at 5:30 am, just as I had finished my last bathroom, and we went to sleep. We both got up about 8, and have had another LOOONG day. He took the polygraph part of his hiring process today and it went well.He had to work all night again. Actually, edit: he just called, its 1 am and they had to leave early so he's on his way home. Here was my day today. I'm not really even that tired right now, although my bad typing has gotten considerably worse since I started:

8 am up cuz of a phone call, kids are hungry (the nerve!! LOL)
9:30 Weave and cut Lisa's hair
12 noon Drag kids to store to buy snacks, go to pool and meet friends
3 pm go home (stop by Target for shampoo)
3:30 shower, dressed and makeup, make sandwiches
4:00 40 minute nap (Wyatt escapes to the neighbors to play, different neighboor kid is in my house playing..WTH??)
5:00 Cut Jeannie's hair (new style, cute)
6:00 Weave and cut Liz's hair
7:30 grill chicken, make noodles for kids dinner, pack the 3 big kids for the weekend, eat the noodles and chicken quickly
8:30 Back to the store for the kids road trip snacks, bathroom break
9:00 drop off kids to dad at grandma's(awwww, Im gonna miss the little buggers)
9:45 Weave and cut Casey's hair, Find out from dad the kids need jackets...CRAP
11:30 back to grandma's with jackets and Sadie's running shoes
12 midnight.......Home, little boys asleep in the car....ahhhhhhhh

I think I'm so tired I'm not even tired anymore. Thats why I'm putting it all out there, I need my unwind time at the computer. Now Marks on his way home, I may as well go clean up my haircolor mess. I DO NOT want you to say I'm superwoman, I AM NOT this is just one of those crazy weeks that will go down in infamy in my personal history, I needed to document it for proof later. This is up there with the notorious Thanksgiving 2005 insanity. LOL I made some good cash today, shipped off the kiddos(well some of them) and its t-minus 3 days and counting till I'm in paradise with my sexy husband. Oh yeah, baby!! And thanks Suz for the reminder about the tent idea, That one is a great one. I'll get my brother to set it up hehehe.

All I have planned tomorrow is grocery shopping for the week, an appointment at 4, and then Marks mom is watching Wyatt and Dayton because our friends wanted to take us to dinner for appreciating Mark doing the scout camp all week last week. I am SLEEPING IN!!!!

Wow! My blog is getting really big!! And HELLO some of you people need to UPDATE!!! :D I have been sooooo busy its been crazy. I want to be shopping and packing, and all that but its gonna have to be last minute.($$) My SIL that is watching my kids while am gone is panicking because my lil sister Emily got a job and won't be here all week to help with the kids. I can't say I blame her for being nervous, she has a 5 month old and babies are time-consuming. I called my mom yesterday and talked to her about it and hopefully my sister can still come for a couple of the days and the other days I am gonna see if my OTHER SIL Denise will come and spend the day with the kids, doing a craft and going to the pool. Then Im gonna try to set up playdates with friends for the older kids at least for another day. I have a list of about 10 things they can go and do and today when she comes over to do my hair (YAAAAAAAAAAY)I will give her a pep talk. My kids are really low maintence. Right now its after 8 o'clock and only Cade is even up. They will just lay in front of the TV half the day if she lets them, which isnt something I usually let happen but she can if she wants to. Its actually pretty low-key around here. Plus, the kids can all get themselves dressed(Dayton needs some guidance) and they can all make themselves breakfast and lunch too. She dosen't know these things. If she just gets them out of the house once a day to get a chnge of pace for them, she'll be fine. I'm also gonna have some dinners made and frozen, plus other REAALLY easy things to make (i.e. frozen meatballs/spegetti) and food they can prepare themselves. And EVERYTHING will be disposable. The kids can put away laundry, clean their rooms and the living room(including vacuum) so if she puts them to work a little hopefully it won't get too overwhelming. And if she takes them to the pool, it'll wipe them out. Here is the list of things I'm gonna suggest for activities:

Rent Playstation 2 games
Matinee(free on thursdays)
Hamilton Pool(a local water park)
Draper's pool(1 mile away)
Craft project(I will provide stuff)
Spray park
Library
Play dates-Cooper, Sadie and Cade
Makutu's Island(indoor kid paradise playland w/pizza)

Does anybody else have anything I missed??? She won't be able to do all of these things but at least there are options.

I have TONS to do today, and I'm doing hair appointments (2 weaves tomorrow) and I did Danas weave monday, a perm yesterday and I need to do Caseys weave friday sometime. Considering I've not even started to pack, and the house is messy I have a busy couple days ahead. And I want to be DONE: packed, cleaned, set for my SIL, hair/nails done by Saturday noon. (so I can go hang with Kim and her mom and chill!! WOO HOOOO!!!)On the upside, My dad is taking my 3 older kids thursday nite-sunday afternoon to the Huck Finn festival in CA so I'll have less kids to deal with, and hey, theres always the all-nighter. I'm guessing I'll have at LEAST one if not 2 more. Wish me luck for the rest for the week!!!!!!!

The usual

I had a wonderfully successful cleaning binge the last night, a true all-nighter. I slipped into bed about 5:25 am, just as Mark was getting up to start his crazy day out in the 112 degrees. But I am VERY happy that I did about 3 days worth of work uninterrupted and my kitchen is superclean and organized. It makes my inner virgo shiver with excitement. YAY!! I wan't even tired all night, I was so into it, and I slept on and off till 9:30 then went and had 3/4 of a great workout until I crashed since I'd eaten only 1/3 cup of cottage cheese. So betweeen the 3 hours nap yesterday, then the 4 hours or so I got this morning, thats almost a full night. I am kinda crashing now. I have not even had ANY caffeine pills all weekend. Its real true energy. Feels good, even if it is a little stupid. Look, if my SIL is gonna come and stay here and take care of my kids for 6 days, I should at least have things organized and accessible for her.
Everone needs to go read Sqwiggs blog today. She really put things together for me today, talking about how we tend to view working out and eating right as a punishment... well, you just have to read it. Excellent!!!! This new perspective could really help power me thru another challenge.

My tuesday excitement is being rescheduled for another day this week. Yikes!!!

Saturday, June 10, 2006

My man is home!!!!!!

YAY!!!! Hes been gone a week, but I feel like I haven't seen him in 2 weeks since he worked so much the week before he left. Its so good to have him home. He looked so strange with almost a full beard, so rough and manly..YUMMY. I wanted to take a picture, but Dayton put my memory card inside the cd-rom drive, hope I can find it. We are just hanging out today and then tonight we are going to Sadies dance recital. Good times.

Fun and sun and sun and sun

We have been so busy. Fun busy though. I've been doing a good job of keeping the kids occupied, but its a lot of work, and it costs a lot in gas. I'm getting a nice toasted tan. Not doing so well at the eating plan, but I feel a new challenge coming on, the real deal again. Also, stay tuned for some wild stuff going on this coming tuesday. I will give a full detailed report.

On the Mark front, He's still gone but is having a pretty good time. And he dosen't know it yet but he is ON the short list of 10 guys who are in line to be hired by the police dept. YAY!!! He was the first alternate but some didn't make it thru background checks. It will be a totaly fluke if he dosen't make it past that. He dosen't even have a speeding ticket! So I am cautiously VERY optimistic. It helps knowing a few guys who work there, and he's a great candidate. Keep your fingers crossed. I could be on the road to a normal life!!!!

Anyway here is a pic of my cutie Dayton today at the pool. I can't believe this is my baby!!!!! I had 8 kids with me today(my 5 plus 1 cousin and 2 friends) We had fun. Chaotic, though. I love the pool, it totally wipes them out!!! So heres a window in on my life. Think I'm ready for a little adult vacation?? Hmmm? I watch this and I think, Yes, I eat to soothe myself like an infant. I love 'em though.

Summer storms

This is the second day in a row we've had a freakish storm at 4 pm. Yesterday is was this awesome wall of dust 200 feet high that swept over the entire valley. You could see the edges of it until it was right on top of you, then is was just a solid dirt cloud. I can't imagine what the settlers must have thought back in the olden days, when one of these giant dirt walls showed up. It moves fast, too. You can see it travel. Then it passed. Wierd. Now today we have another storm, but not a dirt wall, but just a sudden dirt storm, this time with rain. Lightning like a post card. If I were out in the desert, it would probably be gorgeous. However I'm in the middle of a neighborhood, something is lost on that, I think. LOL I wish Karenna we here to capture the storm on film for me, but oh well I took a pic of it. Some people can capture the moment, I can take a pic. Get the difference??? LMAO

blabber

Another day another night. My days are flying by. I'm so busy. I was gone most of the day again today and my house is a mess again. I was planning on cleaning up tonight but my legs are shot. I had a great hour and a half workout this morning early and I think some of the soreness is from that, but also I went shopping with my mom and 2 sisters today and walking around the mall in old flipflops wasn't the best choice. An the good side, I rediscovered a great store we have here called Forever21 can we say cruisewear??????LOL woohooo! I got a cute top today but I found tons of stuff I'm gonna go back and get. Its one of those juniors stores and the quality isn't great but its super trendy so the stuff dosen't have to last that long and its CHEAP! A very expensive item there is 30 bucks. I don't need anything that fancy LOL. Then hello BOGO at Payless. The end of the week will be shopping time. Today was just get out there and see whats cute. I really love the styles right now. Can you tell I never go shopping??? I didn't forget Mark, I got him some plaid grandpa shorts. Too cute. I finally got some ideas of what I want to get. I call dibs on the 14.99 wooden beaded bag at American Eagle!!!!!!! :)
It did make me realize that I probably don't need as much new stuff as I thought I did, I do have a few things already that I can take.

I'm really ticked that my legs hurt so bad, I needed to get some stuff done!

Five items in the fridge
-eggs
-tortillas
-peanut butter
-Sadies little friend's cooler of "special" food left over from her party

Five items in my purse

I thought this was funny

I'm still tired so I'm sitting here watching Grease 2 (just happened to catch it on TBS-YAY) and trying to get my week going on the right foot. This is the stuff I watch when Mark is out of town because no way would he stand for it. Any good ideas for chick flicks I can indulge in at night this week??

I'm also trying to get myself pumped up for the next 2 weeks fitness and diet-wise so I thought I'd share this funny clip of when I was at the trainers in Thatcher a few weeks ago. These are reverse push-ups, I'm supposed to do 10 sets (of as many reps as I can) of these. I can't really do even one without a spotter. Gee, I'm sure some random guy at the gym would spot me if I asked.....BWWWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! So NEEDLESS TO SAY I do not actually do these. But I do 10 sets of regular pushups, dips, and wide grip pull-ups (with help, obviously) for my arm workout, along with this cool 10 lb plate workout. I'll have to show you that sometime. Its awesome.

This video is like my 8th set. He made me do SO MANY! I couldn't straighten my arms for almost a week afterwards.

Hey lookie, now Grease 1 is on! BONUS!!!! ahhhhh, good times!!

Crashed

Yeah I sorta crashed. I was trying to remember all the things I did today, but its kind of a blur now. My legs ache, I'm tired to the bone. I just couldn't do any more. One of my classic turbo days. The pile of clean clothes on my bed is gonna have to find a new home on the floor til tomorrow. Its the start of a looooong week here alone with the kids. Tomorrow is church but Cade has a fever tonight so he may be staying home.

I need to take a nice hot bath but I'm too dang wiped out to run the water, and I might drown if I fall asleep in the tub.
