House update

Mabye I should call it a downdate.....boo. Well, I don't know. The latest in the stomachache saga is as follows: The appraiser screwed up. He put it in at the original offer, instead of actually looking though the contract.(hello?? what ever happened to actually APPRAISING THE HOUSE, not just putting down the number....but whatever!) It was supposed to be 215,000. He appraised it for 200,000. Major oops. The problem is that is not easy to just change it, he would have to admit wrongdoing, which of course he won't. So we have to go back to the bank and beg them to just sell it to us for 200,000. Plus pay our closing costs. We do have a couple of things going for us......the market sucks, so the bank would be pretty dumb to turn away any buyer, especially one they know would go through. And a couple of houses in the area did appraise for 200-205K, they were just a little bit smaller and not as nice. And if they turn us down they wont be able to get more than 200 from anyone else, because that is what it is in the FHA system as what it is worth. So we do have a shot, and it would save us some money. We just have to hope they take it. I think they'd take 200, but its the closing costs I'm worried about, because if they won't, we're screwed. Anyway, that is the latest.

Worst case scenario, if the wheels fall off of this whole thing, we will just start over and find a different house. We just have to have faith that we will be where the Lord wants us to be. It is totally out of our hands at this point. My stomach still hurts though.

Well never mind then

I guess I didn't figure out youtube. I can see it on mine but nobody else can, so whats the point??

Guess what I will be doing for the next 3 days?? Deep cleaning. waaaa hoooo. I'm not sure I even have 3 whole days worth to do, especially if I enlist the troops. At least we will be inside where it is not a thousand degrees. I'm mainly only dreading cleaning out the 2 fridges and freezers. Bleh.

My little guys, Wyatt and Dayton are home. My MIL took them to a family reunion campout and they had the time of their lives. Poor little Deets (dayton) was so worn out he fell asleep twice in the car yesterday and was the first one out last night, and still sleeping. Awwww. I really appreciate my MIL taking them, it was SO nice of her. Cade will be coming home tonight some time. It will be wierd having everyone back.

Nothing new on the home loan front, I got an early e-mail saying shes working on it and will break all the rules to get it done. We shall wait and see. Its not even 9 am yet on monday, so its not like something should have hapened yet anyway. We went to the new ward kind of incognito yesterday, it was..different. We just went to sacrament and slipped out. Seems like we may be the old-timers, and I hear it has a high Mt. View Toro alumni. TONS of babies and toddlers. I'm sure it will be great, but Cooper ward is just SO comfy. Its a good thing I enjoy change or it could be pretty tough. I'm sure it will be great. If not, we'll just make it great. My stomach did a flip when I saw that the realtor sign was down. It made it seem like they were serious about selling us the house. They took the lock box so now I can't go in and clean like I planned. BOO! Why didn't I swipe the extra key when I had the chance?? I just didn't realize. Double boo!!

So, today I'm feeling cautiously optimistic, rested and ready to get some things accomplished.

Lets move onto something much more FUN ok??

I finally figured out you tube, here is something fun I did back when I used to have a life.......

Sick!!!!

I am so sick right now!! We are still not signed. The appraiser screwed up and put the wrong price on it so the documents got drawn up wrong and everything has to be re done. As of now our contract is up and we are 3 days over, at a cost of $150 a day. If it goes on much longer there is a possibility that the bank could just get peeved and cancel the whole thing. It is now 1 pm on friday and I have no news. Once we DO finally sign, its at least a 3 day window (at least !) to fund, so if we by some miracle sign monday it would be a friday close. and that would put us over a thousand dollars.

Needless to say, I have had a stomach ache the size of the Grand Canyon, and I've had it day in and day out since we got back from Missourri 2 weeks ago. I can barely sleep, and eating is so unpleasant, it just goes right through me. It just keeps getting worse. One really stupid part is that my kids have been GONE on trips and things all week and I have been KIDLESS and have wasted al this time, now I'm going to have to move and paint with 5 bored kids under my feet. If it even happens. I really really am trying to stay positive, but this is way beyond ridiculous!

So theres a fricken update.
