I finally got a blogging minute

The only reason I did was because my 8:30 pm hair client cancelled, she wasn't feeling good. Thats good because I'm exhausted!! Its only thursday night and I'm already dreading the weekend. I am babysitting my 15 month old nephew from now till saturday afternoon. Luckily he's a bit older this time and its a lot easier. He went down to sleep great tonight WHEW! Then my 4 yo niece is spending the night tomorrow as well. That ought to be interesting. Plus I'm babysitting the girls tomorrow (but they will leave before my niece gets here) HOWEVER I do get to meetup with Dana, Deedee and Jim this weekend, so that will be a little break, even though I'll have the baby with me, he's good. Then off to Katie's wedding dress fitting, hand off the baby and then Cade's football game. Enough already!!

I really wish I could just include the girls I babysit in on my gym membership and take them too, (or even have their mom pay the 10 bucks a month) but the issue with that is the older one having Cystic Fibrosis she needs to be kept away from places like that with a zillion kids in close quarters, she needs to be really careful not catch anything. So that won't work. I usually only have them 2 half days, but you know how it goes, things come up and they need me other times too. Once I get through this weekend I am so excited to get serious on monday. I'm eating better already (if by better you mean not stuffing my face full)but I have gotten so FAT! Its horrible!! I'm getting this fat all back off, I can't stand it. At least my fat tolerance has lowered, now to be a size 10 is enough to make me freak out where before I was trying to get down to that. Now to me a 6 is comfort zone. Not that a size is the magic number or anything, but ya know what I mean. I want my cute body back!!!

Getting to the gym before monday is not going to happen. Mark is working graves tonight friday and saturday night, and I'll have extra kids the whole weekend. I'm going to concentrate on eating to prepare for mondays workout, get all the soda out of my system and hopefully some of the other crud so I don't die when my heartrate rises. I'l probably be sweating out Diet Coke instead of sweat. Sick. I need a milestone to work towards, I'm still thinking my July road trip to Missouri will be a good one. I can still make progress by then. I've even thought of joining weight watchers just for something different to do. I don't know, I can't decide. I'm so lost about it all, which is unusual for me. :D

OK time to go watch my DVR'ed shows after I peek in on you all. I might even have time to comment on a couple, woo hoooo!! :D

Why does it have to have a title??

I never think of good titles. But hey say hi to my friends Maddy and Jill who I just found out are bloggers and here we have been neighbors, friends and gone to church together for over 2 years. Wierd, huh?

Lazy Sunday today, I have gotten nothing accomplished but that is a good thing today, I love it. Mark is working today. He keeps telling people he's "Doing the ironman". So they act all impressed but then he has to add that he's "working at it directing traffic" Har har har what a comedian.

I had such a fun time on Saturday. I got to sleep in a little. Well actually I thought I was sleeping in but then after I got up (at what I thought was 9) I went out to the kitchen and realized that my clock was wrong and it was only 8. Oh well, my body was feeling as if it had been 9, how tricky! Then I got to go wedding dress shopping with my sister Katie who is getting married in June (I feel old now). She was 5 when I got married. Eeek. I was a little worried when they picked me up to go that she had no colors picked, no theme, no idea what kind of dress she liked....she basically had a ring, a guy, and my moms credit card. LOL So mom, sis Emily and Katie and I head out to Davids bridal to do some damage. Between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm we picked colors/flowers (raspberry pinks and green hydrangea silks for the big arrangements) Tons of Tulle to tie the chairs, and THE dress.(all on sale, no less!) On the way home they found the flower girl dresses, bridesmaid dresses and Kamerons ring. Also all on sale. Pretty productive, I must say. Her dress is very gorgeous. I started crying when I saw her in it. *sigh*

Things turned bad though after I got home,I did an updo for prom then I drove out with the 3 little boys to go to Cades second football game. It was at Kiwanis park (which I am not very familiar with) and I could NOT FIND THEM!! Marks mom and I drove around for about half an hour and could not find them anywhere, I was so tired from this crazy past couple weeks just and this was the last thing to do in a loooong series of events the last few weeks, I got so extremely beyond FRUSTRATED!!! The other mom that I knew out at the game's phone was off, Mark was wrapped up in coaching, he never even heard me call (nor did I expect him to) so there was no other way to find them. I got a map of the park, coudn't find it. I sorta held it together, I did not cry and I just said screw it and went home. No sense wasting my gas, but it killed me to miss my Cader boys' football game. Of course he had played great and got a sack and our team did great even though we lost. Everyone had a blast and I missed it!! GRRR! I apologised profusely and heard all about it at least. It really sucked to miss out.

Backtrack to friday night...Party went really great! Its amazing how simple you try to make things, its still SO much work. I couldn't really even concentrate on it until a couple days before becauses of all of the Easter/Funeral/Family in town going on, but I had lots of help and tried to delegate as much as I could. Its funny when you do that (delegating) you still have to cover your bases because stuff comes up and people can't always follow through. So you still end up doing a lot. I really had a lot of help, and I really did not cook one thing, pretty good considering it was food for 40 people at 6 different locations and only 1 thing from an actual restaurant. We all had a great time!! I was so thrilled with all the people that came out to support it, it was great. I have to admit that over the years I am getting the "anal-retentative-ness" beat out of me and I can let so much stuff just go thats not important. Hopefully nobody noticed that I had an outlet cover missing from my main family room wall, and I have NO flowers in the front of my house.I think there were some grass clippings on my sidewalk in front of the door, too. It sucks having hte lamest house on the block. LOL 5 years ago these things would have sent me over the edge for a party of this type, but I guess I'm getting more mature. Or tired. Anyway, We went to Maddy and Dustins' to play games after, I haven't seen Mark and some of the other guys laugh so hard in a looong time. It was hysterical! We need to start doing game night WAY more often with our neighbors. It was a riot.

OK time to go console Cooper, on the floor next to me having a meltdown because I won't let him get the halloween masks out. I'm such a meanie LOL

Owwwwwww

I went to the new gym today. In case you're wondering it is Lifetime Fitness and it is quite the place. I'd been before with friends and totally loved it (whats not to love about marble, glass and beautiful people??)So I took a class that a couple friends said was a killer, the traditional total body conditioning. Yeah, more like total body annihalation!!! YIPES!!! This poor bod has barely broken a sweat (for exercise, anyway ;) in more than 6 weeks, and I knew it was gonna be a real shocker, and boy was it ever. We did tons of everything, it was an 80 minute class for cryin out loud. I was mentally prepared but now every single fiber of my body is yelling at me! I didn't even try to over do, I used very light weight (cuz I know ther'd be a zillion reps and there was!) But hey, bod better get used to it because playtime is OVER. I'm signing up this weekend and its back to business.

Then Mark calls tonight at about 9:30pm. Seems he forget to mention that he had voluntered to bring chicken enchiladas to work tonight, its his first night out in a car by himself, no more field training!! WOOT! Luckily I had everything on hand and whipped up a couple pans and took them over. Had he told me I could have had them ready before his shift, but he forgot, so they got there a little late, but very fresh. :D It was cool to see him pull up to the thing in his own cruiser, I'm so proud!! I went in and met some of the guys, I knew some of them already, it was cool. Geez though talk about a loooong hiring process. 1 year ago he put his first app in, and now tonight he's official. It has been a really good experience. We have all learned a lot. Then as I was leaving he got a call and took off in a hurry, my stomach flip flopped a little seeing him drive off all alone to go take care of whatever it was. Just a bit unnerving. I'm just so super proud of what he has accomplished. He was one of the first ones to be released on his own, the rest of the guys have to do a little more training. Yeah baby, you rock!!

I'm supposed to be cleaning for this party Friday, but I just can't get into it. Hence the blogging and the cheerful late-night cooking. I'm really gonna regret it tomorrow if I slack tonight, but I'm wiped out. I'm seriously considering having housecleaner people come in on friday morning and do it. I just have way too much other stuff to plan and food to get and assign out. I think it would be worth it. I'm gonna look into it tomorrow. That could be fun :D

Hey- and happy Easter

Naw.....It wasn't chaotic at all!!! :P
Still crazy busy, still tired. Family is now all gone, we had a lot of fun though. Time to pick up the pieces and put it all back together. I'm taking it easy today, (well, I'm taking it easy while I babysit and drive kids around)Its just a less intense day. Should be able to rejoin the gym next week, which makes me happy. I may try to call the guy back today and get a couple days worth of passes and go try it out tomorrow and thursday. I'm so fricken out of shape I can't even imagine what it will feel like to get on a treadmill.....scary. Plus this is the kind of gym where I will want to have some decent workout clothes, and I need shoes. I was playing around with my BILs Sunday night and we had a bench press "contest". I put up a couple reps of 95 lbs, which was not bad considering I havent' lifted in like 2 months. I can't wait to get back to the land of the living! I'm back to fluffy bloated lethargic me and I hate me like this. All I want to do is take a nap and that does not work with my crazy life. Its way past time to start getting some goals churning around in my head. One of the objectives will be finding that happy place where your lifestyle changes PERMANENTLY and I never see the 140's again. E V E R.
