Sending out an SOS

Alrighty now go back and sing that title how you know it goes.....

Is this the 7 week itch?? I have had a bit of a rough-ish week. Workouts are killer, no doubt. I'm very sore every day. I hit those back muscles between my shoulder blades, bring on the butterfly, baby!! I've gone further in my cardio than ever. I've done a little extra, but not too much. All good. Heres the deal-ee-o, though.

I just feel "off". My weight just seems sooooooo stuck! This is about the worst plateau I've ever faced. I've lost a measly 4 pounds in almost 7 weeks. That is pathetic. How much is there to the "eat more to lose more" theory?? I guess I'm afraid to try it out and experiment. I've read BFFM, I have read it a couple times. I guess I am confused, between Tom Venuto and Hussman. Hussman is all about the deficit, but BFFM seems more about more cardio. I would do more cardio, but I am afraid that my knees will not hold up for it, let alone my shins. Which brings me to my next dilemma.

I feel like if I am not running I am not working hard enough. I really hate the elliptical. The bike is out of the question. I REALLY hate that. Should I change it up to the elliptical?? I do remember Cheryl Muhr saying that if it was the thing she didn't want to do she hit it the hardest. Mabye I need to do that.

Its like I am so confused on what is best for me I just keep hardly eating and running and lifting hard, even though I need to change some things. My veggie intake is WAY low. I haven't had chicken since monday. I haven't had a clean veggie since, um, last week sometime. I've eaten clean, but its been egg whites and protein powder and string cheese and apples. No wonder I caved to some chocolate cake tonight. I feel like crap about that. I wouldn't call it a binge but obviously, not OK. Then Mark brought home a big thing of ice cream and lofthouse cookies. Don't worry, though, the cake did my poor guilt in and theres no WAY I'm bending to that. To my credit, though, I was REQUIRED by MARK to HAND DIP almonds in melted chocolate, and bake and frost 2 chocolate cakes tonight. Sorry, but I'm gonna lick my fingers. I'm not DEAD~ LOL With all that I didn't do too bad, and I hope I haven't opened a door to a place i don't want to visit..."Offthewagonsville" Nope, NOT going there. I just need to clear the fog and confusion in my brain right now. SO many things I could change, where do I start??

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Ahhhhhh, the visitors are gone, kids are back to school, normal life commences. While I was out in the kitchen fixing Mark his breakfast(yes, I do that)he put this little som'n som'n on my side of the bed.

What a HOT valentines gift, huh??? Too bad he had to go to work, all I could do was model them, but man does it make my legs look better. BIG difference. Now I really need a pole. My stripper song would definetly be "Cherry Pie" by Warrant. ROFL!!!! Pictures willl be taken in these from now on, I don't care how slutty it looks. ;) The Tracker webmaster is gonna have to put together an R-rated Profile section just for me now! ROFL. Anybody dare me to wear them out to dinner with a pair of jeans and a sexy top?? LOL I've seen it done, but I don't have the guts. Mabye on the cruise! LOL I hope everybody has a GREAT Valentines day!!

Busy busy weekend

I have the craziest weekend going on. Its fun though. Marks sister in law and niece are visiting from Panama and his brother and SIL came down from Utah to visit her(and us)with their 4 kiddos. It has been sooooo fun. The kids are having a ball. And I love getting together with my SIL's. Today I took my free day but tomorrow is going to be tough. I'm gonna eat on plan all day, but we're gong to dinner at some extended family's and it gonna be chicken enchiladas. The plan is to eat before I go, drink tons of water while I'm there, then try to just eat salad(which I am bringing so I know whats in it :) Dessert is angel food cake with lite whipped cream and fresh berries, so I may have some of that. Tonight all the adults went to Olive Garden, and lets just say, well, lets just not say. LOL No, I stuffed my face with salad and bread then split an entree, so whatever, its free day. I feel very satisfied. :D

I was feeling like taking pictures at the halfway point today, but I just didn't have the time, and last time I did that it was pretty anti-climatic so its better anyway. I feel like I've kind of been bulking without trying. I did go down .4 in BF%(hey, down is down, right?) and I lost 1 pound, which is good considering on friday I had 2 'clean' restaurant meals so I feel good about that. My thigh mesurement has gone UP 2 weeks in a row, which is alarming but not too shocking. I can literally see the muscles are much bigger just since 2 weeks ago. And the cheese on my thighs is much more gelatinous, so hopefully it will just wiggle its way off soon. I was a little discouraged this morning, I jsut wish things were progressing faster. Then I managed to go farther in my HIIT than I ever have...2.13 miles!! I was pleased with that. My goal has always been 2.25 so its getting closer. But honestly, I feel like I can't do better than I have been doing. I can't eat less, I can't eat more. I can't workout better, I mean, I am truly giving this my best shot. So thats how I consoled myself. The only thing "more" I could do is to start weighing food and I am not willing to do that yet. If I don't have a substantial drop in something here soon I may have to change that but for now, I am doing portions of clean food and not getting crazy with it.

HALFWAY!!!! That is so exciting!!

So its my second post today...SO????

I was gonna do a nice 3 miler on the treadmill after I did my UBWO today. I have great new tunes on my MP3 and I was a half mile into it, when the childcare girl came out and got me because apparently Dayton had a poo explosion. SHIT!! LOL But I was still determined to get a good cardio session in today. So when Mark got home from work I got him to take me out to the park at the end of the street and this is what I did(taken directly from MM magazine)

Guerilla Cardio
20 secs sprint
10 sec rest
20 sec sprint
10 sec rest

20 sec jumprope
10 sec rest
20 sec jumprope
10 sec rest

20 sec squat jumps
10 sec rest
20 sec squat jumps
10 sec rest

Repeat 2 more times

I did it!!! It was VERY tough!! But it felt awesome (afterwards)I think Mark was proud of me for being able to do the whole thing period. Funnily enough, the jumproping was the most "resting". 10 seconds between is barely enough to catch a half-breath. I was like "good, its the jumproping part." How messed up is that? LOL It was very tiring, but just what I needed tonight. This may become a wednsday "thing", we will see.
