Idol Recap:

I didn't really watch all of Idol Gives Back.....But I DID see the FIRST 10 MINUTES!!!!! WOOO HOOOOO!! I LOVED IT! I had my back turned doing something and was just listening, I glance over and I'm like "Is that BENJI and LACEY??? And TRAVIS?? And DONYELLE??" YAY! It was the best 3 minutes of tv I've seen since the SYTYCD finale last year! LOL I am so excited for it to start in May. Awesome. I thought Teri Hatcher did really good! That was funny. I LOVED that song Carrie Underwood sang, that is one of my all time favorite George Michael song. Yes, I have a favorite George Micheal album from the 90's, before he got all......ya know. I hope she releases that, I loved it. I even liked Annie Lennox. That was mainly all I saw. I was doing a weave and some eyebrow waxes so I didn't really get to see it all, I'll have to rewatch while I fold clothes today. Who's going home, you ask?? I'm predicting bottom 3 to be Sayesha (aw), Carly, and, um, Mabye David Cook, as a fluke. I REALLY like him after the last few weeks, he totally rocks. I think Kristy Lee Cook has picked up momentum, she'll have the same following/votes as Carrie Underwood did. Or she could go home, what the heck do I know. But I think it might be Sayesha.

Nuttin'

Well I have nothing new to post. But I hate it when people take too long between posts, so I'm posting to say that I have nothing new to say. I'm super busy, blah blah blah. I would love to be on a cruise somewhere tropical right about now. And come home to my house magically perfecty spotless. Too bad life dosen't work like that. Darn.

Follow up post

A few updates:

April fools...I kinda ran out of steam on that. What I WAS going to do was right after picking up the kids from school, tell them that we were going to move to a new house,(they know we are just renting and will eventually move...totally believable) and then pull up to an old burned out or really run down place. I actually had a couple places in mind to go to, but they have recently been cleared because of all the road construction going on, and I didn't feel like driving around forever to find a good yucky old house. I could have gone on and on about how we were just going to do some remodeling and we could make it work for a year or 2, blah blah blah and they would have totally fell for it. Hee hee it would have been funny. Oh well. I'll just keep that little idea in my pocket for later......

I managed to get a picture of the kids on Sunday. Cuties. I really need to get new family pics done. Its been a year and a half!

Cooper's birthday party was today right after school. I have had THE busiest week, and haven't recovered from my all nighter tuesday night (I got a little carried away organizing the office...I looked up and it was almost 6 am! DOH!) and have never caught up. And on top of it the last 3 days have been INSANE. I've done a ton of hair, school stuff, I've been going like a madwoman. So by the time friday came around I was beat, yet had to get my yard mowed (you can't have a sports party in your backyard with grass up to your ankles!) did a gramma perm, and started getting ready for the party about 1 pm today. Ya, the party was supposed to start at 3 right after school. By some miracle I got it all done. Whew! It was pretty much the lamest party ever, but as long as he liked it, hey. All his friends had fun too. All they want to do is jump on the trampoline anyway, so thats what they did. And they played HORSE. Luckily, I made it a short one, 3-4:30. It was just perfect. Now I can start thinking about planning the baptism, AFTER I take this weekend off and chill. Chill chill chill. Except I'm babysitting my neice all weekend and doing a little hair tomorrow. But other than that...I'm CHILLAXIN!!!

B-day for the C-dog

Today is my sweetboy Coopers birthday. He is 8 years old, I just can't believe it!! He gets baptized in a week and a half. He is having his big friend b-day party on friday and then the family party will be after his baptism, of course. He is such a great kid, he is the one that gets his homework done, gets ready for school with lightning speed, and does his chores the best. He is also the one that looks most like me, which is so fun.

He is SO smart, he is actually bored at his school, which most kids find the pace of it's curriculum challenging. I am so glad I get to be Coopers mom!!! His favorite song ever is by greenday, so lets give a shout ot to Cooper. Happy birthday awesome kid!!
